I think I will pass on full evaluations of other QB's in 2014. I have strong opinions about a majority of the prospects in this class. Manizel, Carr, Boyd, Thomas, Mettenberger, Murray, etc. I still haven't gotten around to Bortles seriously yet.
What round to do think Boyd will go around(4th/5th rd?)? Cause i really think Chip may try to draft him to develop.

It depends, it could still be in the 3rd round but 4th could be in his range. I could most definitely see his stock going up during the draft once Mettenberger and Thomas come off the boards. I know Thomas isn't a favorite around here but scouts and teams who are vertical based will like him a ton. Injury or not, Mettenberger is a 2nd round pick. From what I am hearing, McCarron is a late 1st, 2nd round pick. Some teams like him a lot and they need a QB as well so it isn't a New England team.

Boyd, Murray, and Fales are all in that 3rd/4th round region. It wouldn't surprise me if someone took Tajh in the 3rd. It wouldn't surprise me if Murray was drafted before him but Murray is getting hit hard by not having a process. He could drop to the 5th or 6th round.

The 4th/5th round sounds about right for Boyd, but why would Chip draft a QB when he already has a good starter (Foles) and a developmental guy (Barkley)? At this point I'm not even sure Boyd is better than Barkley. Physically, sure, but mentally? Perhaps not. I don't see why the Eagles draft Boyd in the 4th/5th.

Why not just look for and post good scouting reports on the 2014 QBs?

I've heard Todd McShay kind of compare McCarrron to this years Russell Wilson. Experienced QB that's a winner. I agree with you on Thomas, im not a fan. But teams will love his height & big arm.

See i wouldn't take any QBs after the main 3 before the fourth. Just not a fan of any of the other QB's. But i don't think i would take Bortles in the first round. 2nd round i would all day. I honestly never have been a fan of Murray, don't know why. Wouldn't surprise me either if Murray went before Boyd either. He has a somewhat better resume, also played against better competition, along with being a more polished QB.

Because Barkley really isnt that good. Also Chip isn't going to go into next season with just two QB's. Boyd is a little more of what Chip wants in his QB's. But Boyd is going to have to clean up his decision making.

What Chip does will be best for the Eagles. With Vick gone, they need a backup and is Barkley that QB is to be seen.

Height, mobility, arm, velocity, accurate deep passes, there are a lot of reasons why vertical based systems like Logan Thomas. Even with his feel for the game, accuracy in general, consistency which tends to be shaky. Anyone who drafts him should sit him for at least 2 to 3 years.

McShay is nuts on that statement, McCarron isn't that talented but he does lack those flaws that would make him have no shot at starting. At for a pocket QB, he is pretty sound. Some liken him to Dalton, don't see it. Or Matt Schaub, don't see it. But I think he is similar to Matt Ryan a little bit. Not as tall but a little more mobile. He can be a good QB but can he be great is the question. I am still mad at him not showing up to the Senior Bowl but given the lack of weapons the QB's had to work with, I can't blame him. It would have been a bad decision. The Sr Bowl didn't do justice for any QB. I can see McCarron getting into the 1st round. His tape will actually help him out majorly. He should do well in workouts and the combine so I have high expectations for his stock improving.
Manziel is the one who's stock will fall. His gametape will scare teams. If a team drafts him in the 1st round, they fall in love with him. He will look very good as a rookie and even as a 2nd year player but can be exposed. Like I said earlier, he is Matt Stafford like in the way they play in the pocket but he's Vick in the way he plays out of it. That doesn't means he has the tools of Stafford or the tools of Vick but his playing style is like a combination of the two.

I really enjoyed this amateur scouting report. One of my favorite parts of sport is analyzing prospect play, identifying strengths/weaknesses, and making projections. I'll rep you when I get the chance, @#1 pick , but you have to promise to make more of these reports for other prospects. I also want to see gifs demonstrating arm strength, talent, football IQ, etc.[\B]

Teddy stock is falling down a little, it's crazy because his ability and tape says he's as legit as they come. Kinda weird he didn't wear his glove.
