Once they get rid of the HC I'll be much happier. I think Bowles is an OK guy but I've seen enough, he's never gonna be a good head coach.
I don't think the GM has given him a lot to work with but he's got huge flaws I think can't be fixed.
Hope brees is done first game .time for teddy to shine

Investing a third rounder in a one year rental of a QB (with a $5M cap hit) that you hope never plays is dumb.
Unless Brees has some injury issues that ain’t making waves yet, this doesn’t make much sense for the Saints. And Teddy has even less of a chance of playing real snaps this season to showcase himself for FA next offseason and is pretty locked to not hit the incentives in his deal, so this isn’t really a win for him either outside of it being cheaper to play/live in LA than NJ.
This was a great move for the Jets though. They basically bought a third round pick for $1M, few strings.

JT was always playing for the practice squad haha.
My guess though is Tom Savage garbage ass is out of here now, Bridgewater is #2, and Taysom Hill is our #3QB/#6WR/Flex/Special Teams Ace.

Maybe.. probably saw the 2nd round QB prospect for next year. It's super weak. 2020 QB got some interesting prospects. So, they got Teddy as insurance for Brees this year and probably next year.A third round pick means they 100% view him as the successor to Brees.
Good for my nikka Teddy, he's ground and fought for that chance after almost losing that leg.
Also... Savage being a back up is like begging to be cursed. That dude always finds his way in the starting line up due to injury.
