why tesla investing 4bill building 2 new plants..The Tesla Semi truck will be a monumental failure. It doesn’t make sense economically given the size and weight of the battery eating away at the payload,

They’re driving thousands of miles with that $800 though. Without refilling. They only stop to sleep.
How many times you think you will have to stop to recharge in a tesla semi? Each charge taking 30 minutes minimum in addition to wait times when other semis are charging

fuel cost annually if they drove only 400miles a day only worked 4days a week.. is 40-50k

If that was the case, he should have built a Box Truck not semi. Semi’s are designed for long distance hauling.
If he wanted to complete in mid range hauling, he would have been better off producing a box truck or something. Now that may have made economical sense.
