we put deposits down for two of these on the first day. Has anyone been contacted yet? Anything about the process? Haven't heard anything so far. Hoping to get one.
You ain't getting your car for a hot minute fam. That's all you need to know but when you do the a at majority of cats love them if you don't get one of the bad ones.

I'm sure we won't, but I'm curious as to the process. Obviously if they are manufacturing custom orders, someone has gone through the process. Just curious. Just becoming logistical at this point.

I'm expecting to have my ready end of 2018 and i put my deposit down a couple months after they allowed it. You should get yours mid 2018 maybe.

They plan on producing more and more each month, exponentially.

Should get more details during the official reveal event on the 28th about the process and when they open up the online configurator. It's gonna be a while though, especially if you're on the east coast and want all wheel drive.
Personally, I'm fine waiting a little later for one, let them work out any issues on the earlier ones while they ramp up production.

I'm in Texas, so AWD isn't necessary, though I would like it. We were there in the first hour, so I'm hoping we're not having to wait that long. Don't think my gf can wait that long though. Her car has had it and she wants something sooner than later, meaning I will be the one waiting.

Do you want a performance model? I'm thinking of waiting for the performance models to roll out.

I did too.
Reading up on their rollout plan, and they are targeting being able to ramp up production to 20k per month by December 2017.
If they hit that number, I'm thinking we get ours at around the middle of 2018.
