So did u have to withdraw ur down payment or how does that reservation process work ? Anybody still waiting or have any idea when ppl who decide to put in their reservation now might get their 3?

You can cancel and get your money back at anytime. Right now you're looking at late 2018 or more likely sometime in 2019 if you reserve today

I might just try for a used model X or S. Wish we could lease used Tesla's I'm trynna save as much money as possible.

More deals are starting to pop up for used Model S's, some for $40k or less. But they get snatched up quick. They're trying to get people to consider a used S instead of the 3 to clear some of their backlog

Yeah it's right on their website. If you want a new lease on the build it page it has the lease numbers on the right hand side or you can get an inventory aka used one also. Even while you're building a new one they'll give you suggestions on used teslas similar to the one you are building.
