Anyone playing this? I'm loving it. Just had my best finish, 2nd place. shyt gets going crazy fast at the end. Does anyone understand how to actually target people or whatever? I don't really understand how it works.

Need more info, I love Tetris.
I even watched a documentary recently on the creation of Tetris. The creator wasn't given credit til years and years later after the guy and his fam got out of Russia and moved to the US

Switch exclusive, it's basically Tetris Battle Royale, there's either 99 or 100 players (guess I'm not totally clear on if it's 99 total or you plus 99). you give junk to other players by getting lines. Fun and addicting as hell.

That sounds fun as hell.
Targeting works based on 4 options. Random, Attackers, KOs, Badges.
You can attack randomly, attack people attacking you, the person with the most KOs or the person with the most badges. Just use the d-pad to select. If you don't have attackers on you, just go for random.

It being a free to play titleis why it'll get a buzz but ultimately I don't see this game appealing to the switches "core user"
I look at the typical switch user as a kid, and I don't recall kids caring about Tetris. Nintendo published it but it was developed by Akira. If they are a multiplat company that has the rights, then this game will make it to other consoles eventually. And I mean technically you could say it's already on Xbox live

Just played a game, been wanting to play some tetris for a minute, this will scratch the itch...although i have no idea how to do anything other than the base tetris game lol

I can't recall accurately but I think Tetris came with the original Gameboy. At least everyone that had the original Gameboy had tetris.
Tetris was like pac man or connect 4. Cats weren't like "Yo! Bust out Tetris!" But every kid had it and new how to play it. Whether they were good or not depended on how much effort they put into it but like getting washed in any other game if you were garbage you got clowned.
You could tell the real ones by the beginning theme they choose. In fact if you didn't choose the right theme cats might not even let you get in the circle.
