Best game so far. People kept dumping on me and I sent them all to hell with a mediocre game somehow. :yeshrug:

Yo, peeped a bit more about badges from playing; ain't know if you already know but it might help folk.

Anyways, it looks like the more badges you have, the more lines you drop on fools which in turn makes sense because that's an insensitive for folk to run and get them and in turn make themselves a target.

I was up against a dude with hella badges and I had like three tetrises almost in consecutive order and wasn't doing the damage he had with his badges since he cancelled me out with some average line clearing and hit me pretty hard when he finally dropped a tetris.

Went the next few games bumping off fools every chance I got, got my badges up and started attacking Randos and knocked 'em out fairly easier than I would with none.

Man....this shyt prolly my game of the year cause I'm a huge Tetris Stan...and plus the Japanese are back.:demonic: I love fighting those fukkers.

Highest I've place is 6.
Played the hell out of this last night before falling asleep.
I still don't really get those categories you change with the right stick.
I've selected different ones and really didn't notice a difference.
I just stack the blocks and try to land a tetris as fast as possible.

Best strategy is to go for KO's first.. If you see your'e being attacked, switch to attack. once you get to the top 20 it gets tricky as the better players will be attacking you. Just clear as many lines as you can to survive.

If you just playing for fun, that's a mindset that will only take you so far, which is what I like about this game be sure you're supposed to just have fun with it.

I'm still sort of stuck in my "Just drop Tetrises and survive" phase since I ain't never had to look anywhere else but at the incoming blocks but the categories are basically this:-

Random = self explanatory, you basically selecting someone at random to attack since you got to remember that the lines you are clearing got to hit SOMEONE, you ain't just making points and clearing lines.

K.O. = You targeting someone who's screen is blinking red and about to get knocked out the match. You basically trying to finish them off cause knocking out people gives you badges. Will explain badges later.

Attackers:- Folk that have targeted you (You see then lines crossing towards your Tetris play area from all over? Them the folk that trying to knock you out/fukk your shyt up and if you select that, you basically focusing hour energy towards stopping them from raising your lines as well as raising theirs if you keep on attacking.

Badges:- Badges as far as I've seen, you get from knocking out people which increases your Tetris attack power (Awarding you more lines on whomever you are attacking when you clear your own lines) and make you stronger in a sense.

Now with the badges, you make yourself a target cause you're more prone to being attacked by folk wanting to get badges themselves (You get more badges knocking out a player with badges already than just a regular person about to die) as well as increase they power so...it's a bit of a gamble you got a good row going and got Tetrises lined up... You can do some serious damage.

Hope that wasn't too confusing, and truth be told my bro's the one who normally tells me what's going on since my so focus on having fun and breaking the top 10.

It takes some getting used to, but you should have the gist of it now I'd hope from that.

Tetris is easy to pick up and play for anyone right.
But before it landed on gameboy, it was in arcades, then it came to consoles. You're not implying there was lines in the arcade to play it :usure: most arcades didn't care to carry it for long if they did. A local pizza hut used to have the sitdown table top arcade machines. One was pacman and the other was Tetris. The music was mesmerizing tho, especially as a kid. And I personally have always been a fan. I rented the tengen version of Tetris (nes) then later the Nintendo version which was trash in comparison. The gameboy version was the nes version. Again, cool for on the go but you wouldn't be happy with just Tetris (not a kid)
My dads friend gave me a gameboy as a kid and it had Tetris

Must’ve been stolen lol

Even though it prolly won't happen I'd really love to see them allow a second controller/joycon to be able to act as a secondary and choose who you attacking on some help shyt.

Even though I have enough fun playing by myself, (pause) when my bro's with me and he feeding me information on who's attacking me or racking up badges it makes the shyt a bit more intense/fun with him co-piloting my session. :wow:

And that's what you doing, really; playing Tetris. If you ever played against someone else in Tetris, it's the same concept just with a shyt ton of people rather than head to head or a group setting which night have upwards of 4-8 players.

The attacking shyt is easy to pick up after a few games when you get used to switching attack modes (random,Badges,Attackers,Ko), but the base concept remains the same. Play Tetris.

After a few games you should understand what's going on in a sense and if you look up my rambling posts in this thread, I give a bit of insight into what the attack schemes do and what's not.
