That sounds fun as hell.

Breh if you love Tetris anywhere as much as myself, do yourself a favor and give that shyt a try. I came 2nd on my first playthrough after watching my bro show me the ropes and this thing rekindled that competitive edge I had back when I used to battle the Japanese in Tetris DS online.

The mechanics of selecting who to attack is something I'm going to have to work into my strategy as well as be more offensive minded early on coming out the gate....but this shyt is fun as hell.

I haven't met a game that made me laugh and enjoy myself like this since my first "night out" in Dying light. :wow:

What planet you from?

I can't recall accurately but I think Tetris came with the original Gameboy. At least everyone that had the original Gameboy had tetris.

Tetris was like pac man or connect 4. Cats weren't like "Yo! Bust out Tetris!" But every kid had it and new how to play it. Whether they were good or not depended on how much effort they put into it but like getting washed in any other game if you were garbage you got clowned.

You could tell the real ones by the beginning theme they choose. In fact if you didn't choose the right theme cats might not even let you get in the circle.
You didn't tell a lie, but your logic is flawed
Put any game in front of a kid and they good :yeshrug:

Nintendo..well before I even get to Nintendo, Tetris itself, the proceeds didn't go to the developer. It went to the Russian government, the good ol USSR. Tetris was invented by the ghat damn commies. The deal with Nintendo helped secure AK's in Kosovo :patrice: Nintendo packed it in because it was a new and cheap pack-in. Tetris on the go sounds :tu: but Tetris itself was never really shyt to most gamers. It's like saying checkers is the shyt. Yeah they sold a ton of checkerboards but checkers is just checkers nikka, why don't you go in a corner and calm your silly ass down...

I'm just joking bruh :handshake:

Like I said I believe tetris and the og Gameboy came together. It's probable that it didnt and older gamers are experiencing the Mandela effect. Everyone I ever encountered with the original Gameboy had tetris and knew how to play it.

Tetris was before gaming was gaming and even then if you grew up gaming, pac man, donkey kong, you knew how to play tetris. It was like snake on the Nokia phones. Everyone played it or knew how whether they liked it or not . The Gameboy was really cool when it dropped and in 89 it was just before shyt started to get crazy in gaming.

Downloaded this the other night and didn't play it originally since I didn't have an online subscription. Got one last night just for this and been loving it ever since. Just got my highest which was tenth place. Didn't even know about the attacking modes until I read this thread. I know the left joystick let's me move across the other opponents but no idea how that works fully yet.

From what I've peeped you can do the attacking in two different controlling schemes.

One which let you select specific targets and the other which chooses random or everyone (when you attacking folk that attacking you)

There are four attacks and their names are pretty self explanatory. Down is for attackers, the folks that attacking you. You can see their arrows pointing at you. If your shyt is set to the default which selects everyone, you'll attack all the attackers attacking you. If you select the other control scheme, you can select which attacker out of the bunch you want to focus on.

Left I think is random. Which is again, self explanatory.

Up however selects people that are near death and let's you go in for the kill. Once again, you can select who you want with the other control scheme or just get a random near death person and finish 'em.

Now Badges is the right selection and I finally found out how this shyt works. People that kill get badges, which in turn makes them a target same as the folk about to die, so if you aggressively bumping off folk on the earlies, you get a solid amount of badges and get put on this list.

Now if you go against a player with alot of badges and kill him, you get double the amount of badges you normally get, making you a target as well.

Alot of this shyt I said above could be a bit wrong since I don't own this as yet seeing as to how I don't have the online service, but it should help you a bit I'd like to hope.

My Bro about to go sleep and I'm gonna jack his switch and play the fukk out of this thing. :blessed:

Yeah I kinda seen the four different options to pick with the right joycon. Usually do random or attacking. But the one on the left let's you move around to different opponents. Wondering if the attacking is done automatically or you gotta like shoot the pieces over to another player. Cuz I be seeing my screen fill up randomly and see the incoming attack button light up at the bottom of the screen.

Will peep and play some more since I've been letting my bro play and build up his Tetris IQ. Plus I be getting that silly giddy feeling I used to get when battling the Japanese in Tetris DS in them frantic matches so at times I be forgetting to even think on selecting an attack mode.

:wow: 1000 IQ gameplay. Puyo Puyo players are all over this shyt.

I was like :francis: the entire video. But when it went to the tippy top and he worked his way back down I had to give props. I can't come back from that. I can come come from like 90% full. Too full and too much speed and im toast.

I play the fukk out of puyo Puyo (just for tetris) and I have a tablet with tetris on it.

I can't wait until the other modes come out.

Tetris is easy to pick up and play for anyone right.
But before it landed on gameboy, it was in arcades, then it came to consoles. You're not implying there was lines in the arcade to play it :usure: most arcades didn't care to carry it for long if they did. A local pizza hut used to have the sitdown table top arcade machines. One was pacman and the other was Tetris. The music was mesmerizing tho, especially as a kid. And I personally have always been a fan. I rented the tengen version of Tetris (nes) then later the Nintendo version which was trash in comparison. The gameboy version was the nes version. Again, cool for on the go but you wouldn't be happy with just Tetris (not a kid)

Hey Future! Yeah been a while. This game's fun though, just got another W :lolbron:

I'm guessing it'll get harder as you level up. Also is there any way to play with friends or is it always a random 99?

They may add that in the future, I think. But there's gonna be some massive team battle on the way soon. Still looking for that W as well but only keep landing 3rd place. Almost got one yesterday, but I think the 2 final people I was against just saw I was lacking and decided to rid me as quick as possible. the danger meter thing was rising way too fast for me to even think.
