Actually in 2018, Cruz beat Beto for Senate but Beto got the majority of Native Texans and transplants went to Cruz.

I still don’t think Texas will go to Biden. But it is definitely headed for a purple state. They already have the demographics to be a blue state but the Texas rural vote is still very loud.

I think part of this is due to the unpopularity of Trump. John Cornyn is running 6 points ahead of Trump.

I'm not saying the state isn't shifting left, but in normal times (no Trump or Trump like figure on the ballot), it would be further away

Dapped for truth. Trump will lose some white voters in Texas, but will get more latinos than he did in 2016 in my predictions, winning him the state. Them latinos are near 50%/50% in some of these states. A lot of these poll workers don't know the momentum that the "Latinos for Trump" wave will have. Of course as I am a broken record, Us(Black Men) will be lectured by the media and "totally not racist" liberals/leftist for a minor shift for trump - talking under 25% for trump at the most - but still going to be blamed by the liberals for "losing" the race.
