Bruh, it doesn't even have to be the full-blown military. SWAT units could be sending robot bombs and shyt. Failing that, low-yield drones if the military didn't feel like putting boots on the ground. There is no scenario where regular ass rag-tag Americans will overthrow what they see as a tyrannical government.
