I don't see what being relevant has to do with making good music. Propain is one of the best rappers out and had the best mixtape of 2013 with Ridin Slab. Hopefully the Dirty Diamonds mixtape will eventually come out. I gave up on Venom years ago.

he's more relevant than most rappers even if you're not a fan.

This is somewhat true, but don't think rappers don't wanna blow up nationally. They do, but can't not due to their own shortfalls but, the cities' failing support system overall. I'm talking about directors, producers, engineers, pr, management, photographers; finding quality professionals in those fields is hard in Houston. I blame it on cronyism and nepotism, that's all I'll say.
