The H
It’s a whole house with one bedroom and I’m the only one who lives here.

One day when you finally move out of your Mums house you’ll learn the difference between apartments, houses, flats, etc with different sized rooms :mjlol:
Never heard of a house with one bedroom
:laff:

No wonder you're unemployed
You're not very bright

For how long though? Do you see people moving out of Manhattan in droves because of corona?

Evictions are gonna happen en-masse and people are scared of taking public transportation. Restaurants and bars are closed and other unique entertainment spots are on the verge of going out of business. The many reasons why people move to the heart of major cities, is now gone thanks to social distancing. Parks and outdoor places have been shut down.

Even jobs in the city are disappearing. What incentive do people have left to staying in cities now?

I'm from where Petey come from
As a real live DC (NE) nikka born and bred from Gault Place, I agree 1 million percent that $2500 will only get you a studio or jr 1 bedroom West of the River. East of the River on the other hand :francis: and I’m from EOR. I work down by Nats park and them shyts is going up like erector sets :whoo: you got one bedrooms going for $4500 over there :mindblown: I make good money but even my six figure azz couldn’t afford a home in SE, SW and NE and I tired. Went through the Gr8ter Wash Urban League program and DC Gov’t still only gave me $8k :gucci: Now a former coworker of mines she only made $54k and got $85k from DC :mjcry: that’s how that shyt works in DC... So I expanded my search and went through the MD first time home buyer program. MD ended up giving me like $26k for down payment and closing. That shyt helped a whole lot. My good credit allowed me to do a conventional loan which allowed me to prepay my PMI which wasn’t crazy expensive. I ended up buying a townhome in Annapolis (7 min from Downtown Annapolis) with a garage and private elevator :banderas:I recently did a refi, now my mortgage is $1,360. The goal is to stay in it another year then rent it out and move closer to the city.

Gentrification Era had ended. I kept telling people that cities are too overcrowded for its own good. And a lot of those amenities like Broadway shows, bars, unique restaurants, are gonna disappear. Public transportation doesnt help things in this pandemic, either.

The virus is bodying NYers at an alarming rate. Public transportation is the cause of many Rona cases. Even a lot of my friends are now discussing businesses and to move out of the 5 boroughs for more space and sanitary reasons.

Social distancing changed everything, some some World War II type changes.

The Trauma of the loved ones lost already have people on edge. No way this virus disappears and have everything open up by May. Not even South Korea or Japan or China managed to bounce back yet.
