A lot of people out here living above their means and treading water.
Oh well then if it’s a nice apartment in a good area that has that as a going rate. I can see spending that. But I better be making no less then 150k/yr and that’s pushing it.

I was just reading an article that said this restaurant that just shut down because of what is going on has bartenders that make $75,000/yr. they ain’t gonna make it.

Yep. I rent a one bedroom house with a nice neat little garden at the back. Yesterday I lawned it nicely, clipped and watered the flowers and after that, had a nice little BBQ ribeye with a cold beer
And I’m not paying $2500 a month for this either

Meh rent period is high in the area. I know mines is but It is what it is. Not ready to settle on a house. I actually had a house(pass down). I left it and gave it to one of my siblings after a year. I won’t be ready to invest in a house until I’m blown away and I’ve only been blown away by houses in Cali and I live on the east coast...I never been pressed to get a house right away. Homeowners get smug and try to give me the common sense logical advice but they be the ones financing and leasing luxury cars so miss me with that.
