This has gotta be the weakest NBA season (in terms of overall talent) in so many years.

Wow. It's wasn't too long ago when there where multiple contenders and dark horses 3,4 5 years ago

This GS team wouldn't be lauded back then. Sad
i'm not even a golden state fan but:heh:
this team is one of the best teams of all time bro
and the league is filled with talent pretty much top to bottom

golden states chemistry is just out of this world

Last time I checked 3, 4, 5 years ago the only two contenders were the Miami Heat and "whoever comes out of the West" :camby:

They're like a game off the pace that Chicago did in that year.
Plus how many times have we seen a team on pace to break the record during the all star break only for it to not happen? (05 Suns, 06 Pistons, 07 Mavs, 08 Celts)

I honestly hope that Kerr doesn't go looking for the record (he probably isn't, but I'm just saying), and cuts Curry's and Draymond's minutes right down heading into April. While the record is nice and all that, it's a pointless achievement if they don't go on and win a title. Even though Draymond is only averaging 34 minutes, he'll be burned out if he continues playing at this rate. His defensive workload this season is perhaps the heaviest in the modern era (never mind all the screens, grabbing offensive boards, passing and driving he does on offense), and I wouldn't be surprised if it catches up with him near the postseason.

They'll be fine for this year. Next year though? The year after? If they want to be a dynasty they gotta start thinking about workload now because we all saw how tired and old that Miami team looked in 2014. How tired and old that Lakers team(:mjcry:) looked in 2011.

Shorter off-seasons with nearly 100 games total every year catches up to you quick.

Naw you go for the record, just like trying to go undefeated in the NFL

I should clarify, I don't mean don't go for the record full stop - I mean don't go for it at the price of pushing his key players past what they can handle - just for the sake of getting the record.

The league is watered down this year. Be real we've had some terrible draft classes with a few gems. There's no influx of talent when all the older talents retired.

Teams are underperforming and franchises have collapsed. We have GS, cavs, spurs as contenders.

The spurs look worse despite their great record (previous version were better) and the cavs look the same.

3,4,5 years ago we had had some legit threats, dark horses, from clippers, celtics, grizzlies, mavs, okc, bulls, Knicks etc

GS lucked out man
