Why is this record important?

What does winning 73 regular season games mean to anybody?

Impressive when the bulls did it when their was no conception of rest and starters, stars, and superstars played heavy minutes ever night...

In todays NBA...come on....you got about 5 teams trying to tank....you got A LOT of barely average teams...you got a team like san antonio that is more interested in trying out lineups than winning regular season games...

I'm shocked that an nba team would even push itself to try and win 73...if they do they absolutely HAVE to win the nba title or they are going to go down as one of the...if not the...all time :mjlol: team...
Because 19 year old kids from this era are DYING to hold any team up against the great teams of the past.

Let's see how close I can get it (barring a catastrophic injury or Kerr opting to rest players for the postseason) -

@ Portland - W
@ Clippers on a back to back (with no BG) - W
@ Atlanta (dependent on trade deadline) - W
@ Miami - W
@ Orlando on a back to back - W
@ Thunder (end of the road trip) - L
vs Atlanta - W
vs OKC - W
@ Lakers - W
vs Orlando - W
vs Utah - W
vs Portland - W
vs Phoenix - W
vs Pelicans - W
vs Knicks - W
@ Dallas - L
@ San Antonio - W
@ Minnesota - W (I could potentially see a L here after coming off a game against the Spurs on a road trip)
vs Clippers - W (again, I could potentially see a L here - although I give GS an advantage with homecourt)
vs Dallas - W
vs Philly - W
vs Wizards - W
@ Jazz on a back to back away - L
vs Boston - W
vs Portland - W
vs Minnesota - W
vs SA - L/W
@ Memphis - L/W (due to Spurs the next night)
@ Spurs - W
vs Memphis - W

25 wins
3 losses
Two either way

73 wins without taking the second to last games against both the Spurs and Grizzlies into account - that I'm undecided on.

I'll say they'll finish 74-8.
