:mjlol: nikka, no one gives a fukk about that record, it is meaningless.

We would all rather our team win 40 games and the chip, than 82 and no chip.

72-10 don't mean a thang w/out that ring. fukk this thread. 1 star

they will go for it all right now

they know that their advantage is temporary and they will exploit it while its available

its just a question of how long before other players/teams can get the recipe right

for right now they're eating

Why is this record important?

What does winning 73 regular season games mean to anybody?

Impressive when the bulls did it when their was no conception of rest and starters, stars, and superstars played heavy minutes ever night...

In todays NBA...come on....you got about 5 teams trying to tank....you got A LOT of barely average teams...you got a team like san antonio that is more interested in trying out lineups than winning regular season games...

I'm shocked that an nba team would even push itself to try and win 73...if they do they absolutely HAVE to win the nba title or they are going to go down as one of the...if not the...all time :mjlol: team...

i'm not even a golden state fan but:heh:
this team is one of the best teams of all time bro
and the league is filled with talent pretty much top to bottom

golden states chemistry is just out of this world
Individual talent yeah, but there aren't many really good teams outside of like 4. Eastern Conference is like the AFC East

I should clarify, I don't mean don't go for the record full stop - I mean don't go for it at the price of pushing his key players past what they can handle - just for the sake of getting the record.
One thing I'll give Walton before and now Kerr credit for is that they seem pretty strict with their rotations. Seems their top players leave the game and come back at the same time regardless of game situation. I can't think of a game yet where I've really seen them play any of their key players anything more than their normal minutes minus one or two games during the streak. It does seem they were willing to risk a loss by staying strict with their rotations.

Will that still be the case if they're running out of losses deep into March? At what point will Kerr pull the plug if it gets beyond the point of straying from their normal rotations/starters' minutes?

I'm just erring on the side of caution, and thinking about the carryover effect it could have on their postseason run. Especially for someone like Draymond who'll they'll need to go all out for 40 minutes a game in the playoffs.

The league is watered down this year. Be real we've had some terrible draft classes with a few gems. There's no influx of talent when all the older talents retired.

Teams are underperforming and franchises have collapsed. We have GS, cavs, spurs as contenders.

The spurs look worse despite their great record (previous version were better) and the cavs look the same.

3,4,5 years ago we had had some legit threats, dark horses, from clippers, celtics, grizzlies, mavs, okc, bulls, Knicks etc

GS lucked out man
The league is just as good if not more talented than it was when the Bulls made the record
What they are doing so far is incredible no matter how you try to slice it

Even if they fall short of the record, what they doing is legendary

Yall sound like some salty haters :russ:

I honestly don't see it. :yeshrug:

Its such a great marketing point for the NBA and GS, but its... too much changes in late march/april. Fukkery is at an all time high and no coach wants to risk injuries heading into the playoffs.

Green, Curry and Thompson are all hovering around that 32MPG mark. I think that might get eased back in March(or just have some guys take a rest night). It's gonna be real tight, I wouldn't put them at beating 72-10 just yet

They stacked as fk even if Curry shot was off one night they got Klay , Harrison Barnes, Andre Iguodala
They aren't stacked at all. Steph and Klay make this entire team

Other guys contribute but this isn't a stacked team at all. They're more vulnerable this year

Steph playing at an insane level just makes them seem more stacked then they are

This has gotta be the weakest NBA season (in terms of overall talent) in so many years.

Wow. It's wasn't too long ago when there where multiple contenders and dark horses 3,4 5 years ago

This GS team wouldn't be lauded back then. Sad
Name these multple contenders from 3,4,5 yeaes ago
Every year yall complain the league is worst then before and i doubt any one of yall watch any games
