Oh, so now he decides to finally get physical with someone... 'Least now we have a good excuse to finally get rid of him.

Some potential good news here:

The Ravens have maintained an active dialogue with offensive tackle Eugene Monroe, and there's now optimism that an agreement can be reached, according to league sources.
Monroe and the Ravens have continued to negotiate to bridge a significant gap that existed last week.
Although no deal is imminent and there's still a realistic chance that Monroe could test free agency -- during which other NFL teams could get involved that might potentially increase his asking price -- there is increased hope from both sides that something can be worked out.

It's a start. Hopefully the local ties (wife's from MD and prefers to stay) factor in and tip the scales all the way in our favor.

Monroe is the best available player and fits our biggest need

plus, as someone recently said, it wouldn't make any sense to trade two draft picks for half a season in which we miss the playoffs. I'm okay with it.

ummm....we just need extra talent at receiver. Torrey Smith and Jacoby can bring the leadership and Marlon Brown will be a producer.

Don't really need steve smith. Since flacco has his ups and downs we don't need steve smith speaking out in the media as he tends to be vocal and wears it on his sleeve. Flacco ain't ready for a strong personality receiver right now.

Never liked Edelman, something about him just rubs me the wrong way. Never liked Welker either.
