I can't really argue the decision to leave him in. I mean, he did K Tavares on 3, and went 0-2 to Carpenter. Plus they were both lefties. Kinda hard to argue against the best pitcher on the planet in that situation. Was one pitch away from getting out of it. Credit Carpenter for putting together another great at-bat.
And LAWD Holliday crushed that pitch. That's another reason you stick with Kershaw as long as possible: pen is trash rocks outside of Jansen and occasionally Wilson.
