White sox still have a chance imo. Only competition is KC to be honest. Detroit is done again for the next 2 years at least.
Orioles are in the race too, only a game back of the Twins for the second wild card
Twins & Orioles dont concern me - I dont know about catching the Jays and who ever finished 2nd in the West
Tigers still have a great core. They should be right back in the hunt next year if they play their cards right.

a little more than it would seem, Billy loves Josh. hes headed to arb this year and is a FA heading into '17. my gut says he stays
HOU is smart to not part with McCullers, thats dudes hook is stupid nice. Keith Law compared him to a rookie Roy oswalt, and the numbers/look match it. hes a nice prospect not someone id part with for a rental
I thought hed be easy pickins as a rental ...

The St. Louis Cardinals acquired outfielder Brandon Moss from the Cleveland Indians for left-handed pitching prospect Rob Kaminsky on Thursday.
The deal comes hours after Cardinals outfielder Matt Holliday left a 1-0 loss to the Cincinnati Reds with a right quad strain after pulling up lame running to first base. It is the same injury that sidelined Holliday for 31 games earlier this season.
Just gave up a first round pick in 2013 for Moss. Smh. What a horrible move, Mo.
i like Brandon, he made some great strides with the A's after being a journeyman but i think his hip will prevent him from ever being what he was the past 3 years. he basically has a hole in his hip
hes going to be a nice supplement, but the price seems steep

McCullers is only 21 too. He's gonna miss a few starts here and there to limit his innings real soon. Once he starts getting little more control of his stuff he could be a Top of the rotation guy.

Miggy, JD, Victor, Iglesias, Castellanos, McCann and Kinsler is a great core. They'll have money to sign a pitcher or two this winter. They're still in good shape.
Could bring Cespedes back too.
He won't be back next year.
