I was ready to move on from Osemele since season's end anyway, so I'm :manny: about this. I mean, we knew he was gonna cash in and it probably wouldn't be here. Especially with teams like the Raiders out there with cap space to burn.

At least now this means Stanley is (or should be) definitely an option for us at 6.

So what are our draft needs? I'm penciling in left guard and tackle, inside linebacker, a young outside linebacker, 2 corners, a safety, and a receiver (:scust: when I read all that just now)

Yeah im cool with losing Osemele

He never really lived up to his potential and hes damn sure not worth the 11 mill per Oakland reportedly gave him

We'll get a 3rd round compensatory pick next year for losing him so Im good

CB
ILB
WR
LT
S
OLB

We're ok at guard with Yanda and John Urschel

i feel likes its 4 positions we need a starter at(ILB,CB,FS,LT)

We need a WR and OLB but we have starters at those 2 spots,we just need depth to groom at those spots to replace the vets in a year or two

RB is also a need but id rather wait til get one of tye backs in next years class

I dont think we're in rebuilding mode though

IMO if we have a good draft amd Flacco doesn't play like shyt we'll definitely make the playoffs this year

i think SD will take Stanley 3rd overall

I don't really like him anyway

He seems to be just like KO

Extremely high ceiling but doesn't play as well as you think he should

Im sold on Myles Jack, thats the guy i want if hes there at 6

I'll take Hargreaves if Dallas takes Jack before us

We have always been good at drafting and developing olineman in rounds 3-5 so i dont think we need to take a tackle 6th overall

He's got more picks than games played over the last three years. He can't carry a team and with him taking up 15% of the cap on his own, he basically needs to be Rodgers or this team is looking at another 4-6 win season with all the holes they've got.

I disagree

The AFC is weak as fukk

We just need Flacco to be solid to good and not turn the ball over

At the end of the day our defense will determine how well we do thats why im in favor of a defense heavy draft even though we're lacking talent at the offensive skill positions

I think we should take a WR in the 3rd and a olineman with one of our 4th round picks and spend the other 7 picks on defense

As for drafting, I agree. Sadly I doubt this staff will get the most out of said defenders of even develop them properly. Hopefully pees gets the axe early so Frazier gets a chance to try his way. One thing I think they should do is switch to a 4-3 if possible. Ends in that scheme are less expensive than linebackers in a 3-4 and we're tight on cap space.

I think OLB, CB and WR are the must fill priorities. We need good/very good players at these spots. The rest are luxuries. We can get by with an average or solid ILB (Orr). I trust Urschel at LG. We definitely need to replenish the depth though. Tackle and/or Guard need to be drafted in round 3 or 4 at the latest.

I'm not worried about RB, between Talifierro, Forsett, Buck, and West I think we can manage. Tali is good when healthy. Buck and West can only get better. Plus we all know there's gonna be some undrafted FA showing out in camp. I really think we'll be okay at RB.

I agree with you about OLB,CB,and WR being spots that we HAVE to add talent to but I'd throw ILB in there too

Our ILBs are a big reason why our pass defense sucked and why we play zone so much

Mosely hasn't performed like they thought he would and would be better off replacing Daryl Smith as the downhill thumper in our system

I think Myles Jack has the talent to play the role they thought Mosely could

We just signed Bemjamin Watson :dahell:

I like Watson dont get me wrong but we didn't need a TE

That money should've been spent on D

I've always liked Watson but we should've signed him years ago not now. I'm fine with Gilmore and Williams.
