I agree with you about OLB,CB,and WR being spots that we HAVE to add talent to but I'd throw ILB in there too

Our ILBs are a big reason why our pass defense sucked and why we play zone so much

Mosely hasn't performed like they thought he would and would be better off replacing Daryl Smith as the downhill thumper in our system

I think Myles Jack has the talent to play the role they thought Mosely could

I see your point, but Mosely is no downhill thumper. He doesn't have the size or the play style. He is purely sideline to sideline and his game is about avoiding the blockers and shedding them as quickly as possible. He's not good when it comes to engaging blockers. I think Orr is more suited for the thumper role.

If Telvin Smith can play downhill and excel at it i dont see why Mosely cant and he's about 20 lbs bigger

I just dont want to see Mosely in coverage too much next year...dude is a liability

Gilmore is having shoulder surgery and might be PUP'd, Boyle did PEDs and is suspended for half the season, Max Williams is still young and unproven, and we all know Pitta's health can't be trusted. This is probably a good move.
