Gimme Ramsey in R1 and Doctson in R2. (Although I doubt Oz goes WR that early especially just coming off the Perriman debacle.)

If we could swap with someone picking around, say, 12-15 I'd be cool with that. Some solid options could be had there (Alexander and Nkemdiche [if his red flags scare off enough teams] to name a couple) and Oz gets another pick or 2 to play with, maybe even a future 1st if we find a sucker. Don't want to go any lower than that, though.

You also gotta remember we had no pass rush most of the season so that exposed our secondary. I think our inside LBs were the ones who got exposed the most in pass coverage
I agree, but even last year with the best pass rush in the game our secondary got shredded by everyone. Firing pees would help immensely too. Won't be a great defense again with him on the staff.

If we keep our 6th round pick I hope we go LT because Osemele will probably leave this offseason. Don't think there's a WR worth picking up at that spot. But I see Ozzie trading back and us picking up a LT/pass rusher at 13-15.
They really only had him playing LT out of necessity. Dude's feet are way too slow to play LT. But he'll be gone. No way they are gonna give him a lot of money after doing the same with Yanda

Unlikely. Harbaugh tends to clash with every good member of the staff who holds a high position, and one of those people was in fact Pagano. I expect us to be bad/mediocre for the rest of his tenure.

You think so? I think the front office over estimated the talent on this team. But Harbaugh had them playing hard all game every game even when they knew the season was over

They play hard, but he's so inept as a tactician. He makes no adjustments, mangled the clock like I've only seen Andy Reid and Herman Edwards do, and has no knowledge on offense or defense. It's why he's deferred to guys like cam and Caldwell and trestman on offense and guys like Greg mattison and dead pees on defense. Also has an issue with great members on the staff just below him. I think he clashed with Rex as well as Pagano. Also holds grudges. Ran Ed Reed and pollard out of town for not letting him flex on them in 2012. He still makes the same mistakes he was making in 2008. We might be good at some point again under him, but it'd be in spite of him. There's a reason we have losing records against all the top teams in the conference since he got hired.

They could upgrade the DBs but they also had one of the best pass defenses in the league after the bye. That's prolly around the time Jimmy Smith came into form. Shouldn't even have to worry about LT but Monroe stays hurt and KO will be gone

We badly need another corner and another safety. Our passing yards allowed was low since we played teams without a quarterback. Good ones still torched us.
We definitely need a CB but that's probably the deepest position in this draft class. We gotta go after the thin positions first like pass rusher. There aren't too many of them in this draft.

The CB I really want is Kendall Fuller.I think hes just as good as Hargreaves and he might be there for us in the 2nd round because of his injury.

A MLB who can cover is exactly what we need to and there are 2 great ones in this draft

Myles Jack and Jaylon Smith

Problem is Jack missed most of the season after tearing his meniscus and Smith just shredded his knee a couple days ago in the bowl game

Im not a fan of Jaelen Ramsey at all.He is being massively overrated.Hes not worth the 6th overall pick

Doctson makes Perriman redundant. They are both downfield receivers. We need a WR who can work the short & intermediate routes while Perriman stretches the feild

Treadwell,Sterling Sheppard, and Pharoh Cooper would be better fits

If we're gonna take another deep threat I would rather have Will Fuller over Doctson

Sadly I don't think Pees gets fired

Outside of the Seattle game our D improved alot the 2nd half of the season

I think we finished with the 10th overall defense and had one of the best pass defenses in the last 8 games

Pees even got a game ball after last weeks Cincy game

It sucks but i dont see him getting fired

So another year of coverage ten yards off, blitzing all our linebackers at once up the middle, and going prevent defense with the game on the line :snoop:

I think the problem was we had too many of those short and intermediate route type receivers. Perriman if healthy at least has the physical tools to keep a defense honest whether he can catch the ball or not. If he's healthy and they upgrade the o line the passing game looks pretty good. Really they weren't even much of an issue all season

Here the draft order

CX1kuDjWQAAbpeU.png

Cleveland will take Paxton Lynch

I think a few teams might be calling us on draft day to jump in front of SF for Jared Goff

Bears,Saints,Eagles, and Rams are all potential trade partners

I would love to trade down a few spots and pick up a 2nd and future 1st rounder
