Long post coming. Cliff notes is it's infuriating to watch your coaching staff basically point shave and try to lose you games they're so bad and it's even worse when the roster is championship caliber...

And we kept blowing and nearly blew it. The entire second half of the super bowl after the power outage was infuriating to watch. Between bad play calls, sloppy play by the players, bad calls by the referees, and our DC calling the same play with the game on the line that he called for the 18-1 patriots that gave the Giants the lead it wasn't any fun until the clock hit triple 0's. The AFC title game was pretty fun in 2012. In 2011 watching Joe throw to a covered man instead of run for an easy first down when it was third down and watching harbaugh rush the kicking unit out there instead of call timeout to get everyone set was awful. The previous year when they took a 21-7 lead at the half against Pittsburgh and lost 24-31? When they sent a 3 man rush on third and 19 and gave up a 50 yard pass? They lose in the same manner every single game. The way they lost at home to Pittsburgh in 2010 and then made all the same key mistakes against Houston a week later? How about after taking a 20-10 lead in New England and then gain 1 first down the last 8 minutes of the game and overtime against the 28th ranked defense? Those losses cost us the division and the top seed. How about 2011 when they blew games against the Jaguars, Seahawks, Titans, and chargers, who all missed the playoffs? Giving up 7 touchdown passes on opening night in Denver? Routinely losing key games against the bengals where Joe always turns into Kyle Boller against them? Making the same mistakes for 8 years is infuriating.

Yep they getting bamboozled by the the W/L records this coaching staff been ass for a very long time . Reading your description of the Pitt playoff game makes me wanna throw up.

The good coaching came from 6 years of Monachino coaching the linebackers, Clarence Brooks killing it on the defensive line (beat cancer buddy), and the one year of Rex and the one year of Pagano. 2 years of Mattison 2009-10 and Pees since 2012 damn near negate all that though. On offense none of the supporting coaches can make much difference with the performances cam gave from 2008-12, Caldwell in 2013, and Trestman this year. Kubiak was really good last year though. I could damn near publish a dissertation on all the key games they've blown under harbaugh and a few of the ones they nearly lost too because of the coaches.

He wasn't a hiring as DC. That hack was promoted when Pagano took the job with the colts and he only got our DC job since Greg Mattison took a head coaching job in college. Harbaugh wanted to keep him after a season of 7 blown 4th quarter leads and giving up the game winning drive in the playoff game to the steelers. We had lost the lead in the third so that one didn't count but the point stands. The only way one loses a coaching job in Baltimore is by being good at it because that's when he starts clashing with you. Rex and Pagano are great examples. The players had to convince him not to fire Rex in the first place when he got the job. Even wanted to get rid of Ray's squirrel dance. Firing Cameron was basically forced on him by management after a month straight of 6-7 points scored in the second half of every game. Im expecting Trestman to keep his job too. On this note, why the fukk are we hiring guys who get the axe after flaming out disastrously to run our offense? First cam, then kubiak (I liked his hiring though), now trestman. If trestman resigned if half expect us to make a run at chip kelly

Ted Monachino took the DC job with the colts. Brooks and maybe the OL coach are quite possibly the only good member of our staff left on either side of the ball now. Early reports also suggest Pees will be keeping his job :snoop:
Yeah if Pees was gonna get fired they would've announced it today

Haven't watched the presser yet cause its 50 minutes and i been running around all day but i drop my thoughts a little later after I watch it

My only problem with Trestman is he doesn't run the ball enough but I actually like his play calling in the passing game

Hopefully they let him use his own playbook next year instead of forcing him to coach someone else's playbook

Pees ain't going no where. He here for life. I knew that halfway through the season. He always finds a way to sneak back into the top 10 (yards). Just like he used to do for NE (and I hated their defense). Pees goes when Harbaugh goes.

Yeah, not surprised about Pees, not surprised about Monachino. Figured it was a matter of time before he got poached...actually I thought Kubes was gonna bring him along to Denver.

If Pettine doesn't get a DC job I'd be for bringing him back to replace Ted. Remember, he was the OLB coach here before Rex took him to NY. Then whenever Pees goes, you've got a proven replacement already in-house.

I understand keeping things status quo (read: Pees) after what (we hope) was an aberration of a season. But another 5-11 or 6-10 in '16 and I don't care how stable a franchise you have, change(s) will have to be made somewhere.

Wholesale changes to the defensive staff needed to be made after the last 3 seasons. 2012 they were I think 19th in yards allowed, near the bottom of time of possession, 2013 they led the league in blown 4th quarter leads (they did this year too and were close to tops if not leading the league in 2014), had 17 total interceptions between the last two seasons and allowed teams to convert their third downs at about a 45% clip. He's been bad since he got here.

Which is exactly why we now basically need to hope for 2016 to be a repeat of 2015 sadly. Guy is the cam Cameron of defensive minds. Makes me miss Greg mattison with his 3 man rushes damn near half the time. The offense is nowhere near good enough to overcome a defensive philosophy like this

finally home, bout to spark up and watch this press conference :ahh:

i know im in the extreme minority but im actually optimistic about our D heading into next season

Jimmy getting healthy and regaining his speed, taking Webb off the field, and Za'Darius Smith stepping up the last month had our D looking solid

add a pass rusher and CB in the first 2 rounds of the draft along with Suggs returning and i think we can have a pretty good D next year

im actually more worried about our offense because thats were we are really lacking in talent

Harbs confirmed it,no changes to the coaching staff

he did say that there will be changes to schemes and philosophies though so hopefully that mean no more bend but dont break

yo i cant standf this dude Harbaugh

everything that comes out this dudes mouth is typical cliche ass coach speak

everybody else being candid and giving open and real answers except this phony ass nikka
Big reason I never liked the guy. Seems like a phony
tackle, safety, corner, and pass rusher are our big needs according to Ozzie and Biscotti
easily the biggest weaknesses. They can't be fixed if Joe is making near $30 million next season though.
