Big reason I never liked the guy. Seems like a phony

easily the biggest weaknesses. They can't be fixed if Joe is making near $30 million next season though.
Ozzie also added that WR was a big need too and he wants to add 2 more receivers

and yeah i just dont see how they fill all those holes with Flacco making that much unless they cut all the vets(Webb/Canty/Monroe/Daryl Smith/Forsett)

even then it's a ton of dead money. joe is taking up over 20% of the cap on his own. You can't build a good team with a mediocre qb making that type of money. it'd be tough to do it with prime peyton manning

i'd rather take Mackensie Alexander over Hargraves...size is important for a corner these days

Jalen in the 1st, Dobson or the WR from Baylor in the second.....don't we have a compensatory pick in the 3rd as well?

I hope Ed aces it in Buffalo. I don't even blame him for not coming back here - I mean, think about it. He can learn the ropes under Rex....or Dean Pees.

I do wonder how his coaching style will translate to the players. His football IQ was off the charts and he was a film room junkie on top of that. How's he gonna deal with players who don't/can't see what he sees and do what he did out there? I can see him getting frustrated easily by that.

i agree

from what ive read Alexander is also a film junky too and i love his intensity on the field

IMO hes the top DB in this draft

I like Hargreaves too but breh breh be looking 5'8 out there on the field

I think if we go corner in the 1st it has to be Alexander

compensatory picks dont get announced until the owners meetings but were supposed to get 3 this year for McPhee/Torrey/Owen Daniels

were probably gonna get two 4ths(McPhee & Torrey) and a 6th(Daniels)

far as the players i dont like Jaelen Ramsey at all.I feel like hes being massively overrated

i dont see a top 5 or 6 pick when i watch dude

I like Corey Coleman but not at the top of the 2nd

Doctson...i dont know.I feel like Perriman is a younger, bigger, and faster version of Doctson so i would pass on him

I would wait til the top of the 3rd and snatch whatever WRs falls out of Coleman/Sterling Shepard/Will Fuller/Pharoh Cooper

Overrated at corner. He's gonna be a stud at Safety tho. Can even bring him down in the box or play the slot when need be. I like him not only cause he played at fsu but he can play anywhere in the secondary

I don't think Coleman makes it past the second unless he has a horrible pro day/combine

I like Fuller. Shepard, nah. Pharaoh is just a slot guy in the league to me.

I just hope Ozzie stayss away from drafting any of the Bama guys in the first round wouldn't be mad if he jumped on Stanley outta Notre Dame in the first or Jaylen Smith in the 3rd.

Anyone got issue with taking Nkimdeche?

If Stanley is on the board @ 6 i dont see Ozzie passing on a LT...he'll definitely be the pick(not really a fan though)

I still think Jaylon Smith will be a 1st round pick even after the injury

I agree,i think Coleman goes somewhere in the top 15 of the 2nd round but i dont like him that high

I think Fuller will eventually work his way into the 1st round after the combine and private workouts

I agree Pharoh is a slot guy but its not like we have one on the roster already. We need a guy with quickness who can separate and work the short & intermediate routes while Perriman stretches the field

Sheppard can be that guy too

Far as Jalen Ramsey goes i just dont see it.I dont see a freakish athlete, dont see a guy who's elite in coverage, dont see a guy with elite play making ability...i just dont see whatever it is that everyone else sees

Maybe I need to find some 2014 games and watch them but the few i do remember seeing he never struck me as a potential top 5 pick

IMO hes a solid player and a safe pick and I would consider him in the 20s but no way in hell I'd touch him with the 6th overall pick

IMO you only draft safeties like Sean Taylor or Eric Berry in the top 10.Those were truly elite safety prospects.Ramsey isn't cut from that cloth

Even guys like Earl Thomas(teens) and Ed Reed(twenties) didn't get drafted that high and Ramsey wont be half as good as either

Its funny you mention staying away from the Bama guys because I feel the same way about Ramsey that I feel about most of Bamas prospects every year

High floor,low ceiling,safe pick

Im tired of drafting those types of guys. This team lacks elite talent, its time to swing for the fences

And the only problem I would have with taking Nkemdiche is we don't really need anymore defensive lineman

If dline was a need I'd have no problem with him(long as he stayed off the synthetic weed)

Leslie Frazier hired as our secondary coach

Our current secondary coach Chris Hewitt will now be the CBs coach

Our CBs coach Matt Weiss wil take over for Monachino as the LBs coach

Joe Cullen has been hired as our dline coach

And finally our long time dline coach Clarence Brooks(get well soon :mjcry:) has been "promoted" to senior defensive assistant

So they demoted Chris Hewitt. I remember Frazier from his time with the Bengals and Vikings. He's also a potential DC should Peas miraculously end up elsewhere.
