I'm still mad this overrated fukk got a WS with the Red Sox.

Did exactly what I expected. Inherited a loaded franchise with a near limitless payroll and exhausted every resource available. The team won a ring but anybody in that position could have. None of the home grown talent came from him and he started to load up the team with awful contracts.

David Price is owed another $96 million for the next three years; Sale's extension hasn't even kicked in yet and he might never be the same; Eovaldi is making $17 million a year. Can't imagine what he'd pay out this winter if they kept him and he was spending to address the starting pitching and bullpen plus another potential JD contract.

Can't say no to that bat in the lineup but do they need a DH with Jimenez/Abreu and Vaughn on the way?

I think atm they view Eloy as an OF still, which Im not overly confident about. Vaughn is likely on the 2021 roster. Its worth asking, but when you look at our DH numbers from this season, it makes sense. JD can split some time at RF too, we still have a hole to fill there even once Madrigal & Robert are called up. Maybe its a signal Abreu is the odd man out? but they seem to want to keep him around and prob could get him on a cheap DH deal

Sounds like it's either Mookie or JD, not both. If JD walks, they'll keep Mookie.
