His only reliable arms were Lugo, Wilson (who missed the entire first half) and Gsellman (who got injured because Wilson wasn't available). The coaches always get fired first anyway. Mets fans are deflecting their anger towards the wrong person.

In fairness, Diaz will probably be really good next year. He's been up and down each year. First great, second meh, third great, this year trash. Can't trade him at his lowest either when they absorbed Cano to get him.
