I sat about 6 rows back on the 3rd base side a week ago and Goldalschmidt smoked one so fukking hard over my head I think I'll always bring one from now on.

Naw, depending on where you sitting it’s necessary. If you’re sitting along the first or third baseline you better have a glove. Even if you’re sitting in the bleachers and a ball comes your way you’re better off having a glove.

I’m not about to break my hand or get my head taken off to look cool.

I remember when I was a kid I went to a game at Shea and sat behind the 1st base dugout. A foul ball flew by our heads by like 5 feet. Couldn't see shyt, just heard it. shyt had me shook from that point forward. If it wasn't for the new mesh, I'd show up looking like an NHL goaltender depending on where I'm sitting. I can say without hyperbole that Rafael Devers is without a doubt the worst everyday third baseman I’ve ever seen. He makes routine plays look like an adventure.
