No question. It's not even a talent thing at this point, the team has not looked remotely prepared in a single game this season. It's beyond the injuries.

Team is built on front running. Similar to Colts defense with Manning... except for that 2006 run when they carried the team and Manning managed the game.

Hence, it is talent as well. Not like it's a bunch of blown coverages or guys way out of position. They operate best with the offense building lead and never letting up so they can pin ears and not deal with sustained drives.

Then you need coaching to adjust as well.

I'm ready. This season has been so bad, you need to get rid of everyone. There's nothing good about this team right now. I have never seen a team look so defeated. I wasn't expecting them to win but they didn't even compete. And you're going to bring Lamar back for what? Even if they play perfect football the rest of the season, this team looks like a WC team at best

the focus this offseason needs to be on improving in the trenches on both sides of the ball

we have other needs like safety,pass rusher,and a 3rd WR but the main focus should be on getting better in the trenches

^^^made this post in January after we lost to the Bills in the playoffs

it was obvious to me we were weak in the trenches on both sides

DeCosta did nothing to improve either line and here we are

can’t run the ball or protect Lamar because the oline is ass and can’t stop the run or rush the passer because the dline is ass

this is exactly why I so against taking Maliki Starks or a CB in the 1st round

they should’ve drafted Simmons like I said and they should’ve drafted an interior dineman before the 6th round instead bringing back and relying on guys like Brent Urban,John Jenkins,and Brodrick Washington

Lamar will get all the blame but EDC set the team up to fail

even when the guys like Lamar,Kyle,Roquan,and Marlon return from injury they’re still going to struggle against most teams because we are terrible in the trenches

I can't remember the last time this team was completely destroyed like that. They've almost always had at least a puncher's chance going into the 4th (even last week), but this was just B2A from the jump, it seemed.

Bye's coming at a great time. Find a way to get past the Rams (who don't look all that special, IMO) and regroup and heal up, and try to take advantage of what should be - hopefully - a much easier stretch of the schedule.

I dont see any other option in season unless they trade for someone

I'd also consider trading Linderbaum

I'd trade him before the deadline and try to finesse a 2nd or 3rd for him

they gotta stop paying these overrated average players like they're stars
