Not to mention, workplace violence and sexual harassment.Companies should see this as a way to cut down on real estate cost, cut down on commuter benefits, travel and entertainment expenses, etc.
this double down clearly hasn't workedLOL @ companies being scared to mandate working in the office
If every company mandates working in the office where are the workers who threaten to quit going to go to? Lol
i can't imagine a better time to push a start upI said it before, if my company starts pushing the office I'm leaving unless they give me some insane increase in yearly monetary salary - that'll be higher than whoever I recently get a job offer from.
Idiots losing all their top talent, to their competitors.
There is no sense mixing up people who prefer to be in-office with people who prefer to be remote.
Best option: have your desks and workspaces at your office be first-come, first-serve. If you want to come in that day then fine, but if not then fine.
I'm not going in though.
I wouldn’t be making that switch now. First one in , first one out.I wonder if this will change with the recession. I'm pondering a career move but my company is recession proof and I got a good job. I don't mind coming into the office a few times a week either. But I wanna capitalize on this competitive labor market cuz these 5% merit increases aint what's up
It's mainly because the majority of these outsourcing company employees suck. And they're having even worse issues retaining talent.I will say this again
If the workforce was as easily replaceable at the drop of a hat as the press and employers would have you think you would already be gone
why isn't your job currently being done by someone in another country at a 1/3 of the price?
It's mainly because the majority of these outsourcing company employees suck. And they're having even worse issues retaining talent.
I was close to losing my job at my old company. But the crew they hired over in India kept breaking shyt. Forcing us to drop everything and help them fix things each time. They tried everything including paying to send them off for extra training. But no matter what they did you couldn't trust these guys to not cause some catastrophic failure once a quarter. Forcing us to jump on a zoom call and try to undue what they did.
At my current job we spend half our time babysitting them. And reviewing their work for accuracy. Upper Management keeps coming up with different ideas to make them more self-sufficient. But doesn't understand for one half the problem is cultural. I've seen it at way too many companies outsourcing work to India. And it's been the same issues at each one of them.
That’s the direction of almost all companies unfortunately. And I get it…It's mainly because the majority of these outsourcing company employees suck. And they're having even worse issues retaining talent.

1. They are cheap. Dirt cheap.
2. There is an abundance of them.
3. They typically have no career trajectory. So bonuses and promos are out of the picture.
4. The IST workday is US after hours. Important for production maintenance windows.
But then you have to be careful because…
9 out of 10 are frauds. They lie and cheat on literally everything. Resumes, exams, interviews…they have mastered cheating.
I hate saying shyt like that because it feels racist. But the only way you can properly vet Indians is with other Indians. You should hear some of the shyt I’ve heard about Indians from others Indians….they are shiesty as fukk
