Does Steve Stoute have writing credits all over IWW? So Drake is just giving this guy Hush writing credits on his album because they are friends? There's nothing in Consequence's or Cyhi's careers and they both helped Kanye with rhymes. It can happen. But you can keep denying facts though. If a man has writing credits i'm going to assume he helped with the writing process.
Back to the Kanye comparison. He gives everyone credit too but people still help out with the rhymes.
He didn't "take the line". If you read the article, he wrote the song with Kenza. He says "we" wrote that line and there's possibly more.
What about Nickeleus F?
Producers are musical and often help out with lyrics. Emile is also a songwriter as well as a producer. If he's listed as a songwriter and not as a producer - he helped out with the lyrical content. For an example, Jeff Bhasker (frequent Kanye producer) has stated he has written hooks with Kanye and been involved in the overall songwriting process. So for example, he's listed as a writer for Monster but not a producer. Kanye gives credit to absolutely everyone in production, down to who played what sometimes, Bhasker was not involved in the production but was involved in the songwriting.
I'm really starting to question your musical knowledge breh. Omilio took those lyrics (interpolation because it's slightly different) from Rick James "Give it to Me". Rick James gets paid off that - Omilio didn't. The end. In any case Omiliio is the person actually on the hook anyway.
Why you talking about hooks anyway? - i'm talking song writing... hooks and lyrics.
Drake has had 1 ep, 1 retail mixtape, 3 studio albums - he doesn't need coaching. Clearly, what is happening is people write for him.
PUFF DADDY IS A PRODUCER. We know what he brings to the table. Vision. Musical direction. American Gangsta sounds like a 90's Badboy album. Dramatic live instrumentation mixed in with samples and ish. Brought to life by the new Hitmen. QM.
I'm saying that Hush is there cause he's Drake's man who tells Drake what's dope and what isn't dope and shyt like that.
Anyone who knows anything about OVO knows that Hush could never write shyt Drake writes, tehy know that he's not an engineer (even though he's listed as one), the know that O (Oliver El-Khatib) isn't a rapper, writer or anything and yet he has writing credits, Boi 1da Drakes other man who is really Hush's man is also on nearly every track and we know that he isn't delivering bars. These are his nikkas, his best friends and he records his whole album with them (the problem is people like QM, who are outsiders coming in for a sole purpose). If you are with your people in your best friends in the studio and you man tells you to re-arrange some drums would be doper and you give him a credit for that.. Would you think "but wait, there's like 500 nikkas on the internet that might think that I can't write now

".
Certain people give a fukk about such things and won't give credits to anyone, others don't.
Jay seems like a cat that used to give a fukk cause no one from the roc has not got a single credit (which is laughable), while Amber Rose has credit on Kanye's shyt. Jay has started now like ESOM, he had mad credits on that cause that was a done song that he got from 2 girls.
And yes producer help with lyrics, but as of lately producers do not work with artists, which is why other people help artists bounce ideas of.
But to have your mans help you is normal like Ghostface is on songs that he isn't on, on OB4CL does that mean that he wrote Rae's shyt? nah.
As far as Nickelus F goes, he said he helped with a or some hooks and one verse, I believe him. Help does not mean that he wrote the verse as he says, I don't really care about one verse that's 7 year old, however these 4/200 verses QM helped with that's my real problem. The other things are extremely explainable for anyone who needs an explanation (but obviously doesn't care).
