Wo said anything about bristling with confidence? Who said that confidence = approaching a lot of women? No one is asking for Superman to come bursting through walls. A basic level of confidence is something your parents should have instilled in you. It is not the job of any woman to play mommy and make up for your childhood inadequacies.

If your parents didn't teach you how to look people in the eye, avoid self deprecation, and ask for what you want in life, then blame them. If you find a woman willing to nurse your childhood wounds, then good for you and her. Hopefully you aren't a complete psycho and can be rehabilitated. But your inadequate childhood is not the fault of any black woman in your peer group. Furthermore, black women tend to get criticized for trying to change worthless men so I am not sure you can have it both ways.

Every man will have something he needs encouragement on as your relationship progresses and life throws daggers, but needing encouragement or lacking confidence in one area of life is far different from a person who overall has an unattractive, self deprecating personality. That actually goes for men and women.

But seriously nerdy black kids have it a little easier nowadays from what I've seen. As long as you have other interest that compliment your 'nerdiness' and girls find you attractive , you should be alright

Basic confidence is a given. Being humble has its advantages.

Humility is not valued in our community. You are seen as Square or Lame.

Was just watching a USC documentary and Snoop Dogg said Reggie Bush was a "Square" just because he was solely focused on Football and not partying and getting himself into trouble.

It is very clear the definition of Square or Lame in our community includes people who would be "Normal" in any other culture in this country or elsewhere.

This is why an argument of this nature we will never reach a resolution due to the fact that we are debating different concepts with people who have a completely different definition of the terms we are using.

why does this always get brought up? Men and Women simply aren't attracted to the same thing. A woman who's been ran through by 50 nikkas carry A LOT more emotional baggage than a dude who can pull 50 instathots.

Exactly. You can't just flip the switch when it comes to genders. We both have different biochemical make-up and brain wiring. That hypothetical situation is just plain stupid and unrealistic, does not account for gender differences in preference and perception.

Lol a lot of women mess up and assume that men think like women. Most women are generally attracted to only a handful of men.

Whereas men have two categories.

1. Potential fukk
2. Potential wife

And a lot of women still don't realize that once you cross that thot-zone you'll never be elevated to potential wife status (unless dude is a stone cold simp of course).

Same thing goes for men who struggle getting friend-zoned who think they can weasel their way into sex by being the "bff"
