My fellow cinephiles will recognize the music playing in the background of episode one. Both set in Chicago interestingly enough. Must be a coincidence because I watched the movie earlier today.

Finished it and will say I had a better time with this season compared to its previous. It’s not touching S1/S2 for me, though still a solid season nonetheless. Got little crumbs of the raw emotions I longed for from this show throughout, but they were on full display in that finale.
To answer the bolded, they do dip back into that but nothing as ludicrous as John Cena showing up as a fukkin’ Fak.
Sadly, there were moments where I thought the show was (again) feeling itself a little too much and veering towards saccharine galore. Not as crazy as something like This Is Us on that front, but cutting it damn near close. It’s what made the 7th ep feel like such a chore to me.
I also still don’t see the chemistry between Jeremy and Molly here, which is hilarious considering they’re supposedly dating.
Thought it was funny and honestly mindboggling watching them add a couple Avengers on their roster with Luca and Jessica, but got them looking lost in the sauce at the same time while the Faks just shoot the shyt.
