Now for the folks talmbout the government needs to spend more money for "extended family units" and fathers don't make a difference - I just DO NOT AGREE.

When you have 2 parents, that are focused on education, guiding and monitoring the child - they read.

Lotta these Nguyens and Parks and Kurosawas - their parents don't even speak English, much less read it.

But Ryu and Chun Li will be reading and doing homework. (and later on cheating, and then feeling horrible about themselves, turning to empty materialism...but I digress)

Same pattern with the Caribbeans, Africans, Indians, Jews, some of the Arabs....

The focus, the attention, the diligence comes first, and then the money.

That's the rub though.

Like when you read about these wealthy/ultra-wealthy kids - especially the ones going to Harvard/Yale/Princeton/Columbia - they're not actually that smart or capable.

It's the class of people that are STEM/Finance/Law/Business etc - that are NOT at the tippy top - that are making sure their kids read the classics, take Latin, write in cursive, learn programming at 2, etc...

When you have Puffy money, you hire someone from Cornell, from U of Chicago, from Berkeley....

Engineers, Scientists, Accountants, Lawyers, Doctors - specialists - tend to be horrible managers. Some are better than others (in getting the rank and file to kill themselves for the bottom line) - and they rise into management.

It takes a certain level of sociopathy to tell your employees that you're all a big happy family, and then when you fire them, you say it's just business.

And by all measures - Trump, Cosby, Weinstein, Steve Jobs, and Puffy all have that level of coldness.

So I'm not surprised when King Combs or TI's brat can't write basic sentences, do simple math, or basically behave themselves like normal people.

Two parent homes are good, but not addressing the fact that Black folk need targeted programs to accumulate resources (wealth, education, limiting discriminatory practices, incentivizing businesses to hire ADOS people, & good policing to root out criminals/degenerates in the community, or a reparations-like program) over a sustained period of time, isn't really addressing anything and these problems will persist.
