two years ago my friend mother sold her four bedroom council flat on an estate in Clapham for £600,000 ..... flat cost them £21000 when they done the right to buy......

even the council properties are worth money ...... from when peckham was recently deemed one of the ten most desirable places to live in london you know the game is fukked ....

aint nowhere cheap in london anymore no matter where it is or what kind of property whether council or otherwise..... everythings fukked

Yeah I know the property itself is lucrative, but my point is that poor people still live in London and can be found on council housing. Some areas have more council housing than others. As far as the property value trend, its similar to many other big cities in the world. Can only really say theres no low-income areas when all low-income people are pushed out.

The black population is too insignificant in numbers to have to do racial segregation. Economically segregating people in places like london will naturally seperate blacks from well to do whites being that most blacks on earth are poor.

ironically in the most expensive areas of London its dominated by Russians, Arabs, Nigerians and the Chinese not the English people ....

London continues to be the money launderer of the world

Class is less correlated to race in London than it is in the States. Not to say race is insignificant, but there are a whole lot more white people living in social housing in London than say NYC or Toronto.

Crazy how this is such a common global trend in major cities. Same thing happening in Toronto right now too.

Any African flaunting their wealth should be ashamed. I got love for Africans but y'all need to do better. Whole continent lags behind in every measure of human wellbeing. Let's build strong economies in Africa then brag about our wealth, as a collective.

Who are you to put your first world ideals on sovereign africans ? :scust:

You think Africas come up won't impact the standard of life you enjoy here ? :mjlol:

Just eat these processed foods and enjoy access to food, running water and healthcare

Stop thinking Africans in Africa give a shyt about you
its not difficult

It's not a matter of Africans liking us or not. The Fact of the matter is, black people around the world are perceived as inferior because Africa's not up to par.

Being perceived as inferior has a profound effect on our lives. It severely limits our opportunities, etc. You can deny it all you want but the overall image of black people around the world isn't positive, and that's not gonna change unless Africa changes.

the fukked up thing is its all foreign investors , in the past couple of years especially the Chinese ..... and 90% of the properties remain empty .....

The new thing for these developers is that they dont even advertise the properties in the Uk anymore just abroad to foreigners

The game is rigged

You are partly right but its much deeper ......

There is a narrative and stereotype the mainstream have had about African Americans for years .... you know a lot of it is media manipulation

problem is they do the same to Africa, but the same people that will admit that the media shows a biased image about African Americans will believe the same BS they are fed by the media about Africa

Richest world leader is Vladimar Putin hands down, Russia is one of the most corrupt states in the world .... but you never hear that do you?

You never hear about modern day slavery in places like Dubai or how the Saudi Arabian royal family have systematically used their countries finances as a personal account, or how they perform the most executions ....

like I said its part of a deeper narrative
