At the end of the day, Blueprint has the better production, Stillmatic has the better rhymes and the higher highs.

Other people have said this as well. I dont see any correlation to L with Hov's style given L was big on punchlines and if anything Jay was on entendres

I'm talking in terms flow, I see more similarities between them vocally and verse structure wise than Jay compared to Nas.
That's it though, I believe Jay is also distinct enough from L and I believe Jay is a better rapper than him in essentially every measurement so don't mistake me comment.

I realize I'm basically alone on that. Even MJB forced Nas to take it off the album

I got the OG with BH Party on there

That's the first time I ever remember an album being re-released in order to take off a wack song. That song was dumpster juice and everyone knew lol.

Having said that, Stillmatic shyts on blueprint easily
