Listen, it's well documented here that Joe Budden is my second favorite rapper ever, and this doesn't change at all how I feel about him musically... But god damn this nikka can come off like a dikkhead sometimes. I legit didn't even get mad at the Tax interview and can't get mad at this one despite the fact that I fukking can't stand Andrew Schulz.

No I'm saying you can tell he still feel some type of way about that situation. He been saying slick comments on the low on his podcast before the views I fukk with his podcast. I'm saying if I got on my knee and about to marry this woman and a dude I think is cool with me turns around shortly after we split and fukk her I'ma feel some type of way. I'ma say it's cool I don't even fukk with shorty like that on surface but in the back of my mind I'ma be saying this dude a snake and a fraud I don't really fukk with him like that no more. So when he did his Views review and Drake took a offense and throw a few subs at em on feature verse. You tell that trigger some build up shyt because let be honest them Drake Subs was weak and didn't even warrant a diss record in the first place it's cool he did it one for the culture right I even give you 2 diss records max but 3 diss records and say you got 11 more diss records done means it's deeper than what he trying to sell the public and more personal than he trying to sell to the public just my opinion

I guess Joe didn't articulate this too clearly, but I read the Tahiry thing as:
Drake is acting like he's so hurt about Joe's opinion, on some "I thought we was boys" shyt. Buddens response is "nikka, how you getting mad at THIS, when you fukked my ex, and I didnt care. If anyone should be upset it's me!"

The problem with Joe was, he thought he could just go off the top, and not have concrete evidence to prove his points, so when he was confronted and asked to back up his claims, he was taken a back and didn't know how to respond. He's so used to getting softball questions and being mentally superior to people around him, he didn't know how to react on being called out on his bullshyt. People claim Joe is a great debater, in actuality, he's a great spinner. This is what he does

Joe Budden: "The sky is red"

Me: "Why do you think the sky is red?"

Joe Budden: "Hold on now, I'm not saying the sky is red. You're misinterpreted what I mean by that"

I think the problem starts with calling Cthagod a puppet, is that it's more of a feeling he gets than an actual tangible fact. Something like that is hard to back up, unless it's blatantly obvious. See Charlemagne change is far more subtle than overt. With the BI podcast, they always like to give context, regardless if you disagree, they at least always try to explain how they came to their conclusion. Joe is used to not having to back up his claims, and shooting from the hip, and if caught contradicting himself, is good enough of a manipulator, that the people around him are easily fooled.

....my problem is..he went on to discount his opinion, just because he didn't have an example...as if it were a victory...

that was just faulty logic in my opinion. and a cheap debate trick I'm used to white supremacist using.

Or as Patrice O'Neal would call them... "White People Tricks". I wish I was popping enough on Twitter to make that hashtag a thing.

I thought Joe did well enough, if you've been following all along, there's so many layers and levels, and having 4 people constantly interrupting and shifting the conversational flow isn't a great way to make concise points. Joe does spin a lot though, it's hilarious, but besides that, he's on point usually, though he'll spin into oblivion sometimes....just lost in the spin zone lol, I'm not a spin artist, but I relate to Joe a lot, because I am an addict, and crazy introverted....

I feel what he's saying about Charlamagne, there's a different guy on the Breakfast Club then on this podcast. And honestly, a bunch of shyt that was said on there is indicative of not being 'hip hop. LOL @ the red sky analogy....In some cases though, clarification is needed, because some people will take a statement and run with it, leave it out of context, or twist the context. That's a style of arguing too.....I have a friend who is the Strawman king and does shyt like that. However, Joe is extreme levels with it at times.

Joe made one great point; he's obviously not looking for "attention" with the way he put them songs out.
