The problem with Joe was, he thought he could just go off the top, and not have concrete evidence to prove his points, so when he was confronted and asked to back up his claims, he was taken a back and didn't know how to respond. He's so used to getting softball questions and being mentally superior to people around him, he didn't know how to react on being called out on his bullshyt. People claim Joe is a great debater, in actuality, he's a great spinner. This is what he does

Joe Budden: "The sky is red"

Me: "Why do you think the sky is red?"

Joe Budden: "Hold on now, I'm not saying the sky is red. You're misinterpreted what I mean by that"

I think the problem starts with calling Cthagod a puppet, is that it's more of a feeling he gets than an actual tangible fact. Something like that is hard to back up, unless it's blatantly obvious. See Charlemagne change is far more subtle than overt. With the BI podcast, they always like to give context, regardless if you disagree, they at least always try to explain how they came to their conclusion. Joe is used to not having to back up his claims, and shooting from the hip, and if caught contradicting himself, is good enough of a manipulator, that the people around him are easily fooled.
Imma big fan but you're right lol

Joe should've just said, it has nothing to do with emotion, and everything to do with hip hop.

...he went on a rhyme tirade to remind nikkas what hip hop is...you don't play with nikkas...you write bars and release that shyt.

that's hip hop....casuals be thinking it has to be some deep reason, when it aint nothing but mortal kombat ...

"I smoked hookah with you"...

If that doesn't sound like a Stan I don't know what else does. Also we all know he's better lyrically than Drake....throw a rock and you can find better lyricists than Drake...that's not the problem, Joe's problem is that the drugs are getting to him and the inner fiend is spewing forth ridiculous rhetoric. His entire demeanor is hot and cold, jumping from hypocritical statements like "I hate Drake, I never said I hated Drake" to an irrational paranoia, thinking that every rapper has something against him.

What this podcast exposed was how in his feelings Budden is, and ultimately how much he still wants to stay within the limelight.

Taxstone pretty much nailed this point exactly on the Vlad interview. Unfortunately for him, it failed horribly in the podcast when Andrew was paying attention to every word and every sentence. It also doesn't help that its all being recorded. My favorite fail was; "I'm not emotional...Joe is an emotional guy....I'm only emotional with other people. Backtracking and double talk, the sign of a bad manipulator.

yea like when they asked him why Drake being confident about himself makes him mad he could have said it doesn't he just is intense when it comes to competition, lol there were easy enough ways to respond to most of the questions they had for him, but Joe overdoes wanting to outsmart people so much that he sometimes talks in circles needlessly when he could have gotten his argument across better with a simple concise response lol

make Char look stupid.

..... He takes credit for bringing The Minister and Umar Johnson on the show and supporting black empowerment but then the next day he's giggling and making distasteful dumb remarks about dark skinned vs. light skinned blacks for whole segments, basically endorsing the Willy Lynch Letters idea to divide black people by skin shade to keep them enslaved and at odds, but he does it under the guise of "i'm just joking." And just on some obvious shyt, he calls himself a "Winfrey/Knowles/Pinkett Smith/Carter", you will never hear Charlamagne say anything reckless about Jay-z, he won't even critique him objectively and he's been like that since Jay-z got him fired, it's just 100% butt kissing, but he claims anyone can get it and there's no bias, lol. There are clear things that he can be called out on but him and Andrew still destroyed Buddens on the podcast though, even if Buddens would have pointed those things out it would've been like a boxer getting knocked down in the 12th round but he's already up by 13 points.

He's critcized Jay-z's music several times, no one except real haters and dikkriding Nas stans that went in emotional comas in 2001 criticize anything else about him. Why do people want him to criticize respectable people? He doesn't criticize any legend except the ones up to real fukkery, fatherless fukks call it dikkriding I call it respect. Why should he call him a camel? What the fukk should he say :what:. It's not about shytting on random people, it's about calling out questionable shyt.

Charlamagne drops jokes, you don't need a PhD in Psychology to understand when he's serious or joking

Every word you typed after the bolded was immaterial, I don't care what you're talkin about kid, just provide receipts for the bolded please, because I've never heard anything other than butt kissing since Hov got him canned. If I'm wrong then I'll admit it, but show me.
