1. Black folk people in a uproar all year over Chicago...the mainstream media has moved on.
2. You're more likely to be victimized by someone who looks like you. Hence; black on black crime, brown on brown crime, white on white crime, etc.
This is not a phenomenon.
3. The rate of violent crime, in this country, has gone down precipitously since the late 80's/early 90's.

I might be wrong (I don't have any statistics) but usually when a black person kills a black person they get arrested and sent to jail.These type of cases the perpetrator either doesn't get charged or charged only after protest and media attention.And sometimes they get off.

Both sides are right.It's like we When we hear someone in low income areas get killed.People assume the victim was living foul or some shyt.And most of the time that's not the case.

I've met FaB on a few occasions, and dude is pretty stand up when it comes to helping his community and speaking out on things considered controversial. Living in Oakland, and watching babies die senselessly to violence deemed black on black can take its toll, and reshape people's views. I think we as black people do need to do a better job of policing ourselves like the Panthers initially tried to do back in the day, because even though things seem to be getting somewhat better statistically for Blacks, they ain't getting better for us from social and economic perspective.
