Did Bernie ever promise not to raise taxes on the middle class?
I don't believe that and I can't find anything on it, but I keep seeing it in arguments.
Edit:He said his plan could work without that, and found it not to be the case which is why in his new recently released plan that's factored in

The USA is the poster child for economic success. Hands down.

So talking about "redistribution" worries me because in a nation that has strived on letting people do what they want, why does he keep making it sound like people who have followed the law, done the right thing, and still made money deserve to lose money to a few hands who have bended rules to do so? Bernie lacks that nuance, and frankly its unsettling.
Either your dumb or just myopic to the point of extreme ignorance...i haven't decided which yet, perhaps a little of both. You do of course realize that when you have industry deciding laws those "bended" rules are now "bended" laws.

We are a prosperous nation because rules have kept things in check. People have, as they always will tend to, learned to work the system. The system need to be revamped or purged of those rule benders.

And "done the right thing" is very subjective in this case.

At no point have I advocated for lobbyists bending the rules. Is this discussion about law enforcement or socialism? Let me know.

So myopic to the point of ignorance it is. You've not advocated for it, but as long as they follow the rules in order to bend the rules you're ok with it? You brought bending rules into the debate not me.

Bernie doesn't say what you said in as muted terms. You realize this, right?

And frankly, I don't know if I can trust Bernie to handle geopolitics as well as Hilary would. We're going through some massive changes right now and you have to consider who you want to represent the interests of AMERICA when it comes to the rest of the world.
still worried so much about what happens outside of your country then you are what happens in it. yes some things from the outside can influence the inside.
but dont be so gullible. Dont be so quick to worry about internation affairs when you got people in Flint, Mi drinking toxic water. thats right here in the US of A. you dont need to go anywhere to see the ridiculous $$$ disparity. and we know why that is. its not smart guys/gals - hard working guys/gals making all the $$$. its slickers who have amassed wealth thru lobbying aka changing the rules to the game.

basically when they pass go they collect $1000 and every year that goes up an addtl $200. you still collecting the same $200 you were collection 30 years ago.

even though the cost of boardwalk and park place are twice as expensive.

The big $$$ players are more or less saying "HOUSE RULES" dead in the middle of the game. You can't compete with that on your own. doing things as they are.
