I'll listen to anyone whatever the race. The only reason this is an issue is because of history. In 40 years, Hip Hop may be like Rock & Roll. The music content might not have diminished but it will be a white face on an originally black art form and some people are simply pointing that out..

40 years? More like 40 months b.

I believe God gives certain people certain talents. If you want to believe Blacks run faster and jump higher because the water in the ghetto is enriched with certain fibers then have at it. Naturally I believe we are more stylish, have more swag and are better at rapping. Sure you have the oddity's like Eminem that are better at rapping than a lot of Blacks but it's such a rarity. It's as rare as a white guy winning the Slam Dunk contest in today's NBA. For every Brent Barry/Eminem there's 1000's of brothers that are better at it. If you can find me a White guy with Deion Sanders in his prime type of swag I'll be more than willing to capitulate my theory.

Now see, this is where youre wrong. Swag is not a God given creation, rather, it was invented by Jay Z in 2010

Aside from the issue that a white rapper like Macklemore will automatically crossover and reach a wider audience, the other problem is that a wack cac rapper will get an industry push and funding i.e dat Iggy Azzlea bish
only reason we ever heard about her is cuz of her skin colour, her mic skills don't warrant the amount of promotion she's received and this i think was part of scarface's point

Basically, white rappers got an affirmitive action thing goin on in hiphop.....soon as Mac Miller got sum buzz goin everybody started stockpilin white rappers, then Gucci Gucci started buzzin and more white rappers start gettin signed to deals.....after majority of them flopped I though ":whew: glad that white rush wuz over" then comes Macklemore:comeon:....expect more wack white rappers to come....but RIGHT NOW at this moment I'm not too concerned bcuz for one we get a surge of white rappers bcuz one manages to have a hit every once in a while....but whites are not talented enuff to keep the momentum going when it comes to hiphop.

I think whites could get away with taking over rock becuz there's really not too much with rock that a white man can't do that a black man can't do......but I always found it impossible that whites could take over rnb or hiphop.....soul,swagger,coolness,pain,aggression certain things white folks can't bring to the table in this genre:manny:.....I will say the more mixed and whitewashed black culture becomes the more open it is too these invasions.......I look around now at rnb and even hiphop now and it is very whitwashed....no soul, aggression, pain really all that neccesary.....but black culture has been whitwashed accross the board which is maybe just a product of less segregation over the years and us interacting more with white folks and them pickin up shyt from us..

The more hiphop acts try to "expand they brands" and make they music colorless the more hiphop is open for a REAL white takeover and not jut a surge.....we not there yet tho,the solution and only solution in my mind is for rappers and rnb singers to stay black:obama:....bcuz whites CAN'T do what blacks can do in these genres of music, but they CAN just about match these white washed nikkas that's rappin and singin that's out now..

Also special shout out to my black sistas who ain't attracted to white men....another reason it would be hard for a white men to fully occupy the rnb and hiphop world....y'all underrate the black female buying power in rnb and hiphop constantly....black women don't want white men rappin or singin to them or hear white bytches rappin, they will get the :rudy: everytime...I don't think black women and white women will ever vibe on that level, where a white chick could be they voice

I didn't dance around your point...Your putting an emphasis on a white artist, and i replied i listen to music i like whatever the race. What i'm addressing is what you are dancing around....

... me getting you to see it from a black person perspective is absolutely pointless. :heh: Black people know there history gets whitewashed and stolen but instead of them calling it out, you'd rather have them not acknowledge it so you can stay comfortable.

At the end of the day if white artists are the ones selling they'll continue to be pushed. How can u expect to have power in a capitalistic society when you're not contributing money to it? I don't see niccas going out and buying a million records but cacs apparently will as proved over and over. Elvis came and sold a billion records but the artists he stole his music from? Same story different time. You might as well accept the inevitable cause in the end its all about $ and no amout of forum complaints is gonna change that

It all boils down to purchasing power. Thats all I was trying to say a couple pages back. We dont support black artists, we lose our purchasing power, we lose our voice. Why would a Executive give a fukk about what a person who doesnt buy their product has to say?. In order for the game to stay black we need to support our artists again.

But we all know THAT aint gon happen :Obeezy:

:pachaha: black people who supported the threadstarter's opinion are scared of the white boggeyman. There are more prominent and successful black artists than white artists in HipHop. If we were to compare the numbers, it will be lopsided. In fact, many white artists come and go, and most of them don't even have a solid fanbase to help them to sustain a long-term rap career. Nikkas want to cried about a white rapper's single that arose number 1 in the billboard, which is a rare success for a white artist while they listening to Chief Keef or 2 chain:mjpls:

You made a few good points, but really, More black youth (90s babies) grew up middle class. They have far more in common with a white kids from the same neighborhoods than a black person from the hood. Therefore, they lack the "aggression" and pain that made black music so popular. Besides, more black artists are waking up and seeing that staying int he state of turmoil and pain is not the way to be. Which is why you even see the likes of Nas, Jay, Mary J, and others make music about times of peace in recent years.

Lol,....
The blacks who bought into the prison economy base marketing of rap.
Which was used to damage the culture.
Are now trying to deflect blame,...
Plus, hide their hands, from the floodgates they left open.
when they allowed the protection mechanism to be destroyed.
If you was a fake ass rap fan, who did not give a fukk about puff fukking up hip hop.

Or said fukk talented emcees/bboys/bgirls/dj/writers in favor of garbage.

You, only have yourself to blame for what is occurring.
As you offered no resistance, and watched with perfect glee.
as you allowed the dialogue and business practice of unskilled wack sellout revenue grab artist and businessmen the opportunity to draw.
Instead of ousting their asses faster than ice and hammer combined.

Now, bathe in the pool of horse shyt dog shyt you created.

You rnb wack ass nikkas with no care for the culture allowed this.
Don't hide your hands now.
You got twenty actual years of bullshyt all over yourself.
If you never, tried to kill the problem and champion the culture back then.
fukk your negligent based concern, now.

You ho ass wussy-puss, huff ass bytch nikkaz.

Your inept, negligent attitude to the culture!
The same culture, that raised your bytch ass is why there is no profitable business model for you to indulge and partake in.

You bytch nikkas are the problem.
Not the white people, who actually sat around and watched you diss a culture they have shown more concern for.

you bytchmade stans, and wack nikkas letting anybody and everybody rap, or even emulate one fukking head bob to some rap is where the problem began.

JUICE : WE GETTIN RAPED BY THE nikkaS PUT IN THE POSITION TO PROTECT US.

White people making rap are not the issue.
The nikkas who allowed unskilled wack shyt to draw are the issue.
You get rid of them first,...
Then the rest will follow.

Art Barr = last knight of templar to this culture alive in my Gen

white artist in rap have a much larger consistent draw and ability to make a profitable business in rap than any black rapper.
Which, is all because of white people in the culture searching to keep it true during the sales spike era.
Real talk,..
In general, nikkaz are the most non-supportive group of ho nikkas ever birthed in general as the last era of rap fans.
You showed no actual support to anyone who kept it real.
Not to mention people who kept it real and were culturally relevant and skilled

So, any nikka can spare me their belly ache'n of watching white cats get paid off a draw they built from keeping it true.

If, you ho nikkas would have supported your own.
The real nikkas who really were skilled and who really showed and proved.
This disparity would not exist, at all.

It would be no disparity on the pop charts to the underground.
