It all boils down to purchasing power. Thats all I was trying to say a couple pages back. We dont support black artists, we lose our purchasing power, we lose our voice. If we were to compare the numbers, it will be lopsided. In fact, many white artists come and go, and most of them don't even have a solid fanbase to help them to sustain a long-term rap career. You made a few good points, but really, More black youth (90s babies) grew up middle class. They have far more in common with a white kids from the same neighborhoods than a black person from the hood. Therefore, they lack the "aggression" and pain that made black music so popular. Besides, more black artists are waking up and seeing that staying int he state of turmoil and pain is not the way to be. Which is why you even see the likes of Nas, Jay, Mary J, and others make music about times of peace in recent years.

white artist in rap have a much larger consistent draw and ability to make a profitable business in rap than any black rapper.
Which, is all because of white people in the culture searching to keep it true during the sales spike era.
