That should always be the end goal (unless you have a pathetic team and they know who they are). You're not designing a team just to make the playoffs. Nobody is. That said, you can't predict how far you'll go and you can't make snap conclusions on a team based on one season. The goal for Golden State next season shouldn't be the same one for Philly or Phoenix or Denver. That's where it gets unrealistic. Put it this way: I'm not gonna be so quick to blow up the Wizards even though for all we know, this is gonna be as far as they go as a team.

I mean some of those teams have a player who has the potential to lead you on at least a Cinderella run if not further with a top tier coach and a good front office. You can go places with wall or a healthy embiid if your front office makes the right moves.

Wtf does this have to do with it. Bron Miami team wasn't going up against this Warriors team.
