All Star
Its so ironic that Bron stans are now using points that they've been arguing AGAINST all season long.
No it brought him three years cause he's been to the finals the past three as a cav and he got one for the landlebron suffers from the same thing as Jordan.. he doesn't know shyt about talent
he's stuck with kevin love with a max fukking contract and tristian with damn near the same
you know what kind of superstars or 4-5 stars he could have with that money.. he thought he bought his way into 5-6 years of dominance and it looks like it's only going to last 1. they can't even afford to blow them up cause who the hell is taking either of them with those contracts
Good thread, this is somehow something I haven't seen mentioned much if at all, just how bad Cleveland matches up with them...
And honestly I think you're even being a little generous. Curry and Irving are clearly not a push right now. Curry has been by far the better player this series. Kyrie does nothing to make the players around him better, and has done nothing this series to make the team as a whole better. His points have been completely empty, and have taken far too much effort to come by, and as everyone knows he's a total liability on defense.
Green and Love aren't a push either. Love's played really well, but Green does a little of everything and is the heart and soul of that team. Draymond's value isn't found in the box score. Love can't really guard anyone, and he's able to be guarded by Draymond, Durant, Pachulia, Iggy, even fukking Klay Thompson can lock him down in spurts. So the Cavs 2nd best player this series has been nullified by any number of players cause at any given time the Warriors 2nd AND 3rd best scorer are far superior players than him, and their fukking 6th and 7th man are better defenders than him.
This might seem like a completely outlandish statement, but if Iguodala was on the Cavs he might honestly be their 2nd best all around player. He doesn't score much for the Warriors for obvious reasons, but on the Cavs he'd be their starting 2 guard and probably get 15-20 pts a night. He'd be their 2nd best and most versatile defender by far, possibly their best defender. He'd be at worst their 3rd all around best player and that in part shows why this series is such a shyt show.
The Cavs do NOTHING better than the Warriors and have no way to exploit any kind of mismatch for the first time due to Durant being able to match up so well with Lebron while at the same time receiving help from some of the best defenders in the league. Durant's getting help from Draymond, Thompson, and Iggy, all the while Kyrie's struggling to score and the Cavs' bench has completely disappeared on both ends of the floor. And anything Love brings to the table on offense is completely nullified by how bad he's overmatched on the defensive end.
And the center position isn't a push either, Pachulia and McGee have physically dominated Tristan Thompson, and if they move Draymond or Durant to C they're both good enough to defend and grab rebounds over Thompson and they can run circles around him on offense. It's absurd that anyone ever thought this Warriors team would lose.
Lebron's gone for 28 pts 15 reb and 8 ast (8 TOs killed them) and 29 pts 11 reb and 14 ast, and that hasn't even been enough to keep it close let alone win, and people are actually trying to say Durant's embarassing him, completely ignoring (or just too stupid to see) that Lebron is just completely outmanned.

This Warriors team might end up proving VERY bad for the NBA. No one, outside of Warriors fans, wants to see this. If they play again next year and the Cavs don't get significantly better, no one's gona tune in for this shyt.
Weren't you saying that LeBron and the Cavs were gonna run through GS before the series? Ole backtracking ass nikka.

It annoys me when Durant mean mugs or fans are shocked by the domination. They doin what they should be doing. Hopefully 1 of em gets a high ankle sprain.
Even @brother walt was forced to lean backWeren't you saying that LeBron and the Cavs were gonna run through GS before the series? Ole backtracking ass nikka.

Captain of the LeStan brigade himself said this is the NO EXCUSES FINALS. Both sides healthy, both sides rested, both sides built in anticipation of the other. You have a player who's fans insist is "GOAT tier", his "perfect sidekick", and an array of shooters around them. This is a team built by and for Brawn, built to cater to HIS strengths.
A week ago dudes were talking about how Brawn & Kyrie own KD & Chef, the Cleveland bench is deeper, Tristan was gonna dominate the boards again, and how that physical brand of basketball would prove too much. How the fukk y'all go from that to crying mismatch in 5 days![]()
