I swear Curry stinking in the 2015 finals might literally be the biggest myth that's perpetuated by people since that time when Tommy Hilfiger went on Oprah and said he didn't want black people wearing his clothes.

He was awful in game 2 and the first half of game 3, but outside of that his play was fine.

The funny thing is that if any Warrior needs to be called out for going ghost in the last two Finals it's Klay, but he's a Coli favorite

think another key will be which team can force the other to adj their lineup first...by that i mean: mcgee has been effective as hell for the warriors, but if the cavs force the warriors to take him out for iggy, i think that's a win for the cavs....same goes if the warriors force the cavs to take out love for rj, that's a win for the warriors...

There's no justification for having Cleveland as the favorites. Their defense is vastly inferior to the warriors defense, and both teams are on equal footing on offense. The warriors have lost just 1 of their last 28 games. The fact that you're dismissing the gap between 51-31 and 67-15 is just :mindblown:
I just don't see how Cleveland winning can be viewed as an upset when they beat the same team that won 73 games last year. Adding KD makes a difference for GS, but they still have beat a loaded team that has a top 5-10 all time player.

I'm dismissing everything about the regular season because it's meaningless and the Cavs how shown they have another gear.

We'll see, I'd be willing to play Frye vs West, especially if you make West take mid-range shots and trade them for the spacing and potential threes on the other end.

I think the Cavs need to take a play out what the Spurs did to the Rockets, which is overplay the 3 point line and give up 2 points. Don't overreact to penetration and leave shooters, you're never going to stop them from hitting threes, so try and stop them from taking a large volume of them and bank on beating them with your own shooting on the other end.

In some ways I can see this being effective but it's alot harder to do that with the Warriors the Rockets. Rockets are basically Harden making plays out of the PNR.......They don't have nearly the amount of movement GS has and with Kyrie, Love and JR not being great defenders, guys are bound to get lost in coverages. Rockets were extreme to the point where they wouldn't take the open mid range jumpers that the Spurs defense gave when they overplayed the 3 point line.....opting for floaters or just contested 3s.

Honestly I think Cleveland has a shot to win this series but I expect Golden State to blow them out in game 1 as this will probably be a bit of a shock to them after facing teams in the East......After Game 1 the real series will begin.

He was "stellar" in the '15 Finals, he only had one bad game in that series and was great for pretty much the rest of it. Last Finals he was most definitely subpar, but it had a lot to do with his injury and the fact the Cavs forced the ball out of his hands as much as possible. KD's already proven himself on the biggest stage (see '12 Finals), and has done throughout the PS ever since. They both have. There should be no question marks over either of them.

:manny:
Did you see the playoffs last year.

And "stellar" is a strong word for curry in the 2015 finals.

Klay has been ghost all playoffs. I said he was overdue for a monster game but he continues to miss these easy ass wide open shots even when presented with great opportunities to score

The defense has been there more or less but that's not the Klay Thompson from like 2 seasons ago where he was one half of the Super Splash Brothers.

Even with KD here that should mean the workload is less for Klay and even with KD here, Klay has been getting good looks and bricking shyt

Just wanna note that over 50% of the board is taking the Cavs :youngsabo:

So when the Dubs beat them like a drum I don't wanna hear "LeBron didn't have a shot, the most he could do is make the finals :manny:"

yea, forget vegas heavily picking the warriors, and anyone who can do simple math. the coli has the real say so

Yeah now that you post it I remember that. However, I really don't remember Klay catching much flack last year and he was very underwhelming. Seemed like Curry, Draymond, Barnes, even Festus Ezeli caught more shyt than he did :ld:

I know it's much more difficult to do that to the Warriors, but you gotta try something outside the box. I mean, by the end of the series I'd want it to the point Zaza or JaVale are leading them in scoring, that's how much I'd be willing to give up the twos :russ:

I don't expect a blowout, neither team has faced anyone close to the other, the offenses the Warriors have been playing pale in comparison to the Cavs, and the defenses the Cavs have been playing pale in comparison to the Warriors.
