If Cavs don't win game 3 I might not even watch game 4. I don't remember how I felt after seeing the 3-1 lead, but I'm basically emotionally dead after seeing these two games. Like I don't even know if I can stay up for game 3 if I start seeing the horrendous PnR rotations, Jefferson on Durant, Kyrie driving in to 4 people to no avail, the religion-shaking inane officiating, Cavs just have so many bad habits that aren't immediately correctable nor able to be ignored against this team tbh. For Cavs to win the next 2 games would require even more faith than winning 3 straight last year

Bro they don't have the requisite high IQ defensive players that consistently locking in on teams. JR, Shump, Jefferson, Kyrie and sometimes even Bron lack the consistent defensive focus necessary to defend GSW. the consistently lose Curry, Klay or Durant on a split or rub screen at LEAST 3-4 times a game, leading to WIDE open threes. All because they want to switch when it's not even necessary, unless you can't make it around some staggered screens or something, navigate the damn split or rub screen. Like I wonder wtf was they were practicing for 6 days. They should have been practicing to death how and when to switch those distraction screens involving any of the big 4.

Kobe said it in his golden democracy video
All that switching and running ruins the communication good defenses need

Plus cavs sucked on defense already all year so when they run against a great offense with great players his was bound to happen. If cavs had the delly from the past two years and mozgov instead of Tristan they might have lost in six instead they getting swept

Don't forget the classic "Kyrie owns Curry's soul" :lolbron:

I'm actually surprised Cleveland is down 0-2 tbh. They got the 2 best players this series. No excuse not to be at least 1-1
You shouldn't be surprised. Warrior has the best defense and offense in the league. They have more depth and athleticism than the Cavs.

Lebron not trying to score 40 like he did last year is because kd won't let him

Bron hasn't scored 40 on Durant led teams since 2009 but y'all gone ignore that

Durant is in that man head and he can guard Lebron good enough where he really can't score aginst kd like kd can against bron and anybody any where

So yeah the Westbrook rebound and assist stats are nice to look at but his team mates haven't developed well because Lebron is 32 years old still trying to run everything through him and that's why his team sucks when he sits. Atleast 9 of Bronx teammates are or would be starters on playoff teams yet they look like the suns when he's off he court because of bad coaching and bad development thanks to Lebron a selfish stat padding game

I agree with this somewhat, yes Bron is ball Dominant but is would put 50% of the blame on Lue, he has the analytics at his disposal for almost 3 yrs now, to see how horrible Bronless units are. He should groom the 2nd unit without Bron to showcase Love and Kyrie, with Kyrie using his incredible ISO abilities to set others up or score depending on the defense. But no Bron on the floor Kyrie has tunnel vision most of the time. He's gotten a little better or the years, but he needs to function like Attacking Curry, after the pass out relocate etc, also using more Minny type sets for Love at the elbows and blows initiating offense or looking to score depending on the defense.

Because Westbrook doesn't care about winning in a way that benefits the team
It's why he was dubbed young sabotage by us at the coli. Why else would Durant try to carry him for 7 years and defend him every step of the way and people joked about how he looked at Durant when kd won MVP
Okc sealed they fate when they let harden leave who could have possibly been the type of offensive player who could shoot pass and dribble to make those two work together for fukkin Kevin Martin
I agree the problem with that scenario is Harden is WOAT on defense and the would need a coach with an actual offensive system. Maybe if KD and Harden was together, Harden would be more prone to playing defense because he would have another high level scorer and semi creator.

Lue is gonna have to change his starting lineup and try to find a spark

I would bring TT and JR off the bench and start channing and korver and give lebron and kyrie even more spacing.

Their defense has already been horrible so nothing they can do to change that, they have to try and outscore the warriors.

I agree but..Korver can get hot and hit a few threes . .. but he is absolute dog shyt on the defensive end.

I think all the old heads have said at least once how they don't practice during the season, and it's pretty evident in their defense id say. I think you could've took at least 15 points off the board if Cleveland doesn't have both defenders run with the handler instead of someone switching over to protect the roller. They don't really have the frames to beat those high PnRs from the 3 pt line (they usually run those with LD/Zaza/West/the bigs), also seems like some of them were illegal screens in game 2, but whatever
