Kobe said it in his golden democracy video
All that switching and running ruins the communication good defenses need

Plus cavs sucked on defense already all year so when they run against a great offense with great players his was bound to happen. If cavs had the delly from the past two years and mozgov instead of Tristan they might have lost in six instead they getting swept

Don't get me wrong they have an AMAZING offense and defense, as much as I can't stand the Warriors, I respect great basketball as a fan of the game 1st. A lot of GSW success is a combination of great drafting, coaching and trades/signing that fit the SYSTEM they run, instead of a player(s) in comparison to the Cavs. If Lue sticks around for next season, he needs to implement a more robust/indepth motion offense, and get Bron to be more the Miami offball/posting/spotting/curling to cut down his usage and use his gravity more to help shift the defense. Same with Kyrie, don't kill his aggressiveness, just help home him hone that to pick defenses apart along with Love picking up more initiating offensive duties. When all 3 are on the floor the defense should be constantly shifting, accounting for the big 3 runs actions with role players as the safety valve options and triggers.

It just came back to me how they dropped DeAndre Liggins, their by far best defender, for two bigs that didn't even work out. Cleveland has done some questionable ass things in the past few months, but I'm not sure why they dropped their main guard defender when they knew they were playing Golden State in the finals. At best, they were gonna have to play some combo of Wall/Isaiah/Flabby/Brogdon...who just gets rid of an elite defender for no reason? Like they couldn't have dropped James Jones or some shyt instead?

If brad Stevens had this team they would have swept the east and one a game by now

They took a gamble on iman smith and kyrie and the ghost of deron Williams

Also they tried to do what Houston wanted to do and that's out shoot the warriors

The problem with Liggs was that yeah he was a good defender, but he was reluctant to shoot 3's and would try to drive and he's not great at finishing, funny thing he wasn't horrible from 3, especially from the corners. If I was him I would shot 500 3's everyday all around the arc. But that killed him, I would've got rid of Kay or something.

The issue is that you can't double team Durant or Curry and that GS has several players capable of initiating the offense, scoring AND defending well. The only scheme that can beat that is better players, and the Cavs just don't have players good enough to beat this Warriors team.

I hope KD enjoys his cheap ring. He is good enough to win a ring without doing what he did but he chose the easy way out. He is easily the most unstoppable scorer in one on one situations in the league however...gotta give him credit for taking advantage of one on one coverage.

Lol. But the Coli said Durant should have stayed in OKC and played the Robin to Westbrook's Batman.

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
You know what's crazy about this. The fact that the Spurs were up 20 on these fools in game one without Parker. I mean they might not even have got to the finals if both Parker and Leonard stayed healthy.

And yet the cavs can't do shyt with them. Not a damn thing. All these experts tried to act like this was really gonna be a series. Like it was ok the regular season was shytty cause this was gonna be the greatest finals ever.

I don't know what free agent, rookie or trade is going to help them do it next year either.

GS really got this shyt locked up for the foreseeable future
