It's not hindsight, some of us been saying this

Yall shoulda been traded deng and Noah and you shouldn't have paid taj 9 mil a year

Bulls gonna Fukk around and need to trade rose unless y'all can draft an all star caliber player
Of course they should have traded Deng way back when, then again they truly believed this team could wina title. So its whatever at this point

Im just happy they wised up now

can you please explain to me why you would want them to win this year???? :what:
I always want my team to win - i don't care if Jordan was the #1 pick. How could you cheer for your team to lose, I don't get that concept - if they lose they lose but I will never been actively rooting for that shyt.

They trade Deng, I still expect them to go out and win games and make the playoffs - shyt hasn't changed.

Good move for the Cavs, although now they have to resign him. Glad they didn't have to give up any players to get him. 2 All stars in Kyrie and Deng will be fun to watch. Its like a poor mans 2010-2011 OKC team with an all star point guard (Irving/Westbrook), an all star small forward (Deng/Durant), and a scorer off the bench (Waiters/Harden). If they can give them time to develop and make a move for another star, this team could be good.

do you NOT realize that without their best player for the 2nd consecutive year, and with them being capped, out, there was no way to get better other than to flip assets for draft picks or cheaper players?

also, they went balls out last year without rose (mind you everyone was a year younger) and still got smashed by the heat. so who wants to relive that again? especially when you can potentially get significantly better with just one season of being :trash:

With the money he wants I don't think they'd re-sign him unless they wanna fukk their cap flexibility up.

Optimistic But I Got Hands Tho
Disagree.
got 4 picks for a guy they weren't going to re-sign.

Just so you're clear the Bulls only have 2 guaranteed picks from Cleveland which are Portland's second round picks in 2015 and 2017 (which could likely be in the 50 number range depending on long they remain a good team).

The 2015 first round swap is only good if both Cleveland and Chicago make the playoffs in 2014-2015. The Bulls would need to have a higher seed to swap (basically a #17 pick for a #22 pick for example). If a scenario like that doesn't happen Bulls lose the rights to the pick.

The Sacremento pick is also likely not be a first round pick at all unless the Kings fukk around and make the playoffs somewhere in between now and 2017. If it doesn't it becomes a 2017 second round pick.

i think it was a really good trade for the Cavs if their objective is to still make the playoffs

if they miss the playoffs and deng bounces... ugh. that would be rough but at least they are trying to win some games

obviously i like the trade for the bulls just because i want to see us have a high pick, they need to lose some damn games now
