I guess you missed the previous game where Green & Bogut (who did not play) put Aldridge in a strait jacket and caused him to delete his twitter account. A good portion of his of his points scored were against other defenders and rarely was he double teamed like Cap would be on every 1on1 possession.

And again you & everyone else who's quoted me on this topic are missing the point entirely. Never said Green would shut down Cap, but that the Warriors defense could defend him and their respective lineups against one another wouldn't get completely obliterated like you seem to think. Its not a mismatch when you look at how they are equipped to defend post players and how they can expose a lack of elite quickness from big men on the other end of the floor. I'd say there's a good chance the Lakers even opt to sit Cap in situations when the Warriors go small in order to matchup better.

You bringing up a game where him and Pop admitted that he was not as comfortable in the Offense.

He's visibly much more confident and comfortable now. And will continue to feast on that small ball line up.

And i'm not even gonna dress the Kareem shyt anymore because it's just ABSURD.

You're not gonna address it anyone because you don't know what you're talking about and have an incredibly narrow minded view on the game of basketball. I'm here to discuss this shyt and defend my position with strong reasoning. Not my fault you don't get where I'm coming from.

Aldridge was made to look uncomfortable in that game and the Warriors feature a traditional center far more often than they go small especially against lineups like SAS. Bogut, one of the most impactful defenders in the game, will be there to help defend him in the playoffs. Now, Aldridge is still a great player and he will still find sucess against that team but the Warriors are equipped to defend him with a defensive front court as good as any in this league.

Why is it absurd for you to entertain the possibility that Draymond with the aid of Bogut and the rest of the team could contain Kareem?

Yes to all of the above

Its been a long time but i THINK @HiphopRelated is one of the guys who saw the outta this world d*ckriding that this dude used to do for shaq and jay-z. Posters from the booth will remember his antics. He was known for hating kobe/nas and slurping jay-z/shaq.

They had a thread in the booth called something like "superhead discusses rapper/athlete penis size" and she said shaq was average

@Gravity ran in the thread like "the b*tch is obviously lying. Shaq is 7'1 with a size 22 shoe. If you think his size is average then youre just as stupid as her. Shes just mad that she got smutted out"

What kind of "man" with kids would say some sh*t like that? :scust:

Y'all keep talking about HELP.

When the original quote was that Draymond could guard Kareem.

Also the warriors deadliest line up is when they go small with Draymobd at center.

Cap is KILLING that line up.

Bruh Aldridge looked terrible against everyone just not the warriors in the beginning of the season.

As far Cap being contained against Bogut and D Green, how many points is contained? You think they can hold him to 20 a gm? 25 a gm?

He has several options

1. Strip the ball from Cap as he's dribbling to get himself into position. Green is a tremendous thief in post up situations and forces an absurd amount of turnovers to compensate for his lack of size

2. Front him and try to deny him the ball to begin with while another Warrior defender tries to anticipate the post entry pass and make it difficult to even get him the ball

3. He's receiving help from another teammate. It can be Andrew Bogut, another seven footer. In today's league you can easily double a player before they even receive the ball

4. Draymond might be 6'7, but he's one of the strongest players in this league and is incredibly difficult to establish post position against. His 7 foot wingspan allows him to contest shots even with a size disparity.

Is this enough to stop Kareem? No. But he can certainly guard him and hold his own. Like if anyone told you Dennis Rodman could guard Shaq before it happened, did you believe it? Was he not severely mismatched? But what actually happened: He received help from his teammates (who often forced Shaq to pass the ball out of the post), denied post entry passes and compensated for a lack of height. Lets stop looking at this matchup from a size perspective and think about the TEAM aspects that can be emplyed to guard a top center. This ain't a game of 1on1 he's going to get help.

Just some quick points. Kareem really didn't dribble to get into position because he could use the hook up to 18 ft out. He would often times catch the ball and go straight up with the hook. He could do the hook from either side of the court and would turn away from the double ala Hakeem and throw the hook.

Fronting him was also difficult because he was 7-2 and had long arms.

As far as what Rodman did to Shaq realize that bulls team carried 4 centers just to battle Shaq and Ewing. The bulls would normally throw 3 centers at Shaq and after they got I to foul trouble (or to close out the game) Rodman was moved to center.

Shaq still avg 27 a game against the bulls in that ECFs and that was ypung Shaq who didn't have the the go to fade away push shot or the up and under moves and who wasn't as big and strong as he was in LA (Shaq also wasn't the passer he would be in LA and Miami).
