That's a lie dude. The 2 majority Black cast movies out right now are Bob Marley: One Love and American Fiction. Did you support those non slave movies?

You missing the point. The vast majority of the movies that are heavily pushed have been about Black Trauma. 9 times outta 10 “they” wanna promote Black struggle on camera.

I personally never been interested in Bob Marley, but I’d expect it to do numbers.

Never heard of American Fiction before now. I just looked and saw it has a relatively small budget that makes sense why it’s not promoted heavy. And even the film’s description is making fun of the Black Trauma tropes.

Your 9 out of 10 times stat doesn't ring true. The 2 movies out now would make it 8 out of 10 at best.
"They" aren't single handedly doing anything. All these movies have Black people involved in the production.

There are always outliers. Look at the last 10-15 years. It’s overwhelmingly either Black Trauma or the alphabet agenda.

Lena Waithe is Black and we’ve seen what agenda she pushes in all her films.

Dont act blind to the fact they have no interest in pushing strong, Black males and positive stories pushed overall.

You can kil 100 ni**as and get celebrated for it. But diss them and it’s a wrap for ya.

Vince summed it up at the end of this clip on the narratives pushed the most

Let's see here are the 25 best Black movies this year. I think 2 to 3 fall in the Black trauma department. You bringing up alphabet gang is your issue. I wasn't even talking about that.

You got 20 something movies this year not about Black trauma. You don't know what you're talking about. lol

I'm not big on black trauma porn but there is a lot of truth to this comment.

Makes me re evaluate my take
It hits different when you win.

In the Movie Celie dips out with Shug and her New Man despite her loving Shug.

In the Book Mr. Dies she gets her inheritance Shug and the crew gets together and they dip on her.

No winning in that.

I swear we getting all of these trash feminist films because hollywood producers don't want to pay the male stars the money they're worth to make good content.. these shyts are bleeding money as expected.
