Race and a number of things could be factors. What’s your degree?

I'm having the same problem except in a computer engineer major. I have good grades and good projects but I'm really bad at networking. I'm former military so I'm just hoping that I can somehow get a department of defense job. Still looking for internships with bo luck. I got two years left before graduation.
