Big L is one of my favorites when I took the backpack journey through hip hop and his mentor Lord Finesse but DOC was a star in the making already before he dude, L was just an amazing mc

doc, especially if the question is who would have a better career

doc had instant classic on dre beats who hasnt reached his prime yet, the 2nd album with doc on early 90s dre beats would have been something else

The Sky was the limit for both

Had he never got into that accident I'm wondering if the Chronic album would have been just Dre on the boards and D.O.C on the mic (since he wrote all Dres lyrics anyway and Deathrow was originally just D.O.C and Suge....they then went on to recruit Dre)

Imagine Nothing but a G thang with D.O.C and Snoop on vocals instead of Dre

No telling where is career would have went because he was definitely the nicest in the NWA crew, him and Cube were neck and neck but I give D.O.C the slight edge as far as lyricism, Cube had the better subject matter though.

:ohhh:

and Big L would have at the very least reached Camron and Mase's peaks..... which were pretty high (Think ...."Come Home With Me/Diplomatic Immunity/Harlem World 1997" status)

Plus L would have had production from Just Blaze and a young Kanye West since he was going to sign with Rocafella, possibly jumping in that Beef and battling with Nas, The Lox, Mobb Deep etc....

:mjcry:

Crazy how NWA cussed more on Grand Finale than DOC did on the entire album
Yeah, I noticed that felt outta place too.

But an NWA feature at their peak is an NWA feature, I wouldn't have said no either.

Big L by far, especially lyrically. As far as producer DOC and it's not even close.

Big L was already thinking independently and thinking Beyond rap. He definitely would have been the most successful businessman I think. And had he lived longer and learn game from Dame Dash, hopefully just the good parts, there no telling.
